I love it. Plan to wear it on "Not My President's Day." Looks just like the picture and fits great. Thank you!

About

Artistic Apparel

"Down to earth just not this earth"
I grew up in a middle class family. As the youngest of 4 kids, I learned to entertain myself, to do a lot with a little, and never gave up on following my dreams. I graduated early from high school and I worked through college. I transferred from the affordable College of Dupage to the School of The Art Institute of Chicago, when I received a scholarship.
I am not a ‘trustifarian’. I don’t have a rich spouse to support me. I am simply a REAL person with a creative spirit and a knack for “making it work”. I strive to create not only original weird ,wacky, and edgy, work, but also to provide it at an affordable price to people who like cool interesting and different designs, and who can’t budget spending an arm and a leg to get it. I am down to earth but maybe not of this planet, and that’s how I like it! Though I do look forward to the day I don’t have to struggle to make ends meet, and when I can finally afford a vacation! Support your local artists or doom all of our existence to a bland boring simulacrum not worth living in.

I am a jack of all trades and I enjoy the DIY mentality. Right after graduating college I opened a small boutique shop, six months later it tragically burned down. Even though I was seriously depressed I never gave up or stopped working. I recently began sewing more and have been participating in runway shows with my eclectic fashions. My models are always REAL working women. One thing I never understood about the fashion industry is why it gravitates so heavily to clothing stick figure women (whose body types make up approx. 1-5% of the total population’s female forms) I like to clothe women with curves; women with realistic body types. I like the contrast of something really wearable and comfy with something hard edged, sassy, and daring.
Life is unique.
Fashion should be too.
