Leather Couture by Jessica Galindo is an avant garde leather line of impeccably handcrafted accessories and handbags.

The bold accessories line launched in 2008 and has grown from each piece being single-handedly made by the designer in her garage, to opening its own brick & mortar, selling in various retail locations, an online presence and partnerships with brands like Zappos and Hudson Jeans. The handcrafted line of leather scarves, handbags and accesssories reflects eccentric, timeless and ageless inspiration from tribal and contemporary arts to the runways of Paris.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER:
Following her successful fine art career, education from FIDM and career in wardrobe styling, Jessica Galindo launched Leather Couture as the love child of her two passions, art and fashion. While attending college in 2000 and freelancing as a budding wardrobe stylist, the designer began handcrafting leather accessories for clients’ outfits when she was unable to find the bold, unique statement pieces she envisioned. After seeing the success of her designs she launched Leather Couture by Jessica Galindo in her native city of Las Vegas, Nevada.

DESIGN & CRAFTSMANSHIP:
Each work from Leather Couture is handcrafted and assembled by the artist in processes that can take anywhere from several hours to several days to produce. Jessica has spent many years traveling the world and our own vast landscape hand picking items she felt connected with her or matched her aesthetic. Every piece is created from various leathers that are hand-painted, tooled, and embellished, so there will be an infinite number of variations in leather, dye, finish, and detail.
