About

Original Art & Prints

I started this shop as a way to share my work with people. I've always been interested in making art accessible to as many people as possible. This led me first to self-publishing minicomics. I've since gone on to publish many books of illustration and comics.

You can purchase original drawings, paintings, and pages from my comics here, and you can also commission art. If you're interested in commissioning a piece, contact me!

Welcome to my shop! This is the place where you can purchase prints & originals of my already-existing art, or commission a custom piece!

PLEASE NOTE: Frames are not included.

A little bit about me: I draw comics, paint, and illustrate. I started my career in comics with the self-published minicomic Flim-Flam. I'm the creator of three published books (so far) of comics: the Xeric Grant-winning "Queen's Day" (1999), "Subway Series" (2002, Alternative Books), and most recently, "Unterzakhn" (Schocken-Pantheon). I've illustrated books on urban gardening ("You Grow Girl"), fashion ("The Long & The Short Of It: The Madcap History of the Skirt"), sex ("Sex For Busy People"), knitting ("Knit Aid"), and many more. I'm also a bellydancer. I grew up in New York City, and now live in beautiful Gainesville, Florida, where I draw, teach dance and illustration, and co-run the Sequential Artists Workshop, a school for comics and illustration, with my husband, Tom Hart.
