It all started with a "Favor"
Living in Florida had really taken a toll on my skin. I searched for years to find a product that would help my skin to look better. I had a “graveyard” under my bathroom sink for all the products I had tried and didn’t work. I was planning a baby shower for my daughter and began doing some research. I wanted to give a shower favor to the guests, and wanted it to be something they could really use. So, after doing some research I created a Sugar Scrub that really worked for me. I proudly displayed and distributed them to all the guests. After a month had passed, I began getting requests for more of “that scrub from the Shower.” Every batch I made, would disappear with barely enough for myself. I was so excited at the results and started to create different kinds of scrubs, each with a purpose. This is how Skin Sweets was born.
I now make 9 different kinds in 3 different sizes. I sell on Facebook and Etsy. I think what sets my products apart from other sugar scrubs is that each one that I create has a unique purpose, apart from just the scent. Sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid which increases new skin cell production and breaks down the protein that keeps the dead cell hanging onto your skin.
