Quizás te preguntes por qué llamo a esto un taller para escritores zurdos. Bueno, ser zurdo es probablemente la mejor excusa que tengo para tener intereses un poco dispersos.
Llevo tanto tiempo en el mundo del arte que he probado un poco de todo: cuentos, ensayos, una novela, dos libros infantiles e incluso un audiolibro. Mi experiencia como profesora de personas sordas e intérprete de lengua de señas se refleja en muchos de mis cuentos y diseños.

You might wonder why I call this a left-handed writer’s shop. Well, being left-handed is probably the best excuse I have for being a little scattered in my interests.
I’ve been around long enough to have tried a bit of everything — writing short stories, essays, a novel, two children’s books, and even an audiobook. My background as a teacher of the Deaf and sign language interpreter finds its way into many of my stories and designs.
In 2023, my story Sylvia won first place in the Tom Howard/John H. Reid Fiction & Essay Contest. (You can read it at WinningWriters.com if you’d like a peek.)
Here in this shop, you’ll find gifts that celebrate humor, language, and life’s little quirks — from mugs for left-handers like me to small chapbooks and stories that will return soon under the “Chapbook” listing.
