Announcement   In 2010 I created Leigh & Michael as my creative place. I concentrated on appliqué clothing designs. After a little break I am back and I have so much creativity to share that I wanted to expand those option. I can personalize anything with paint or embroidery on any medium.

I am so pleased to create delightful, one of a kind, personalized items for all.

My life is so full, God has blessed me with three beautiful baby boys, and a creative outlet. I make one-of-a-kind, unique pieces, and share them with you. I’ll make small lots of each design (around 4 to 12 pieces, varying in size). Some items are up cycled and their is only one unique piece. When they sell out, there will be no more of that exact one. (But don't worry, I can always make something similar or custom). I will continue to design and create new adorable pieces all the time! I’m also happy to do custom orders, upon request and for no additional cost – I’ll just need a little extra time (2 to 3 weeks) to complete the order and get them mailed out.

Once Upon a Time...

Once upon a time, isn't that how all great stories begin? Leigh & Michael is a WAHM/ small business that was developed by a husband and wife team that have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a vision for delivering a company focused on providing customers a unique service and one-of-a-kind hand-crafted products. Our inspiration for going public with our business was our long-time enjoyment of making hand-crafted gifts for friends and family...the more we made, the more their popularity started to grow. It all started with realizing that our son had grown so big and so fast that we had a full, open case of size 2 diapers with absolutely no use for them--from there, inspiration struck as we began working on our first diaper cake.

Like any business, we needed a name. We decided on Leigh & Michael Designs to represent our middle names. We are constantly being asked, "Who are Leigh and Michael??" One popular assumption is that Leigh and Michael are our kids; however, we currently have only one son with which God has blessed us. We hope to expand our family in the future, but for now we are having fun with him and our newset baby--Leigh & Michael Designs. We focus on custom, unique infant and toddler products to include clothing, diaper cakes, sippy cups, and other great accessories. Our plan is to continue to expand our business to meet the needs of parents just like us.

At the core, Leigh & Michael Designs strives to provide custom hand-made gifts that are personal and unique. Throughout our shop, you will see products that are exclusive to our business--most can be made to your precise specifications and preferences. We do this to ensure that you receive a personalized and unique gift for you or your recipient. Since we purchase fabric and patterns as we see them, if we fall in love with the material on a whim, or are using upcycled material, quantities and sizes may be limited. However, this business model allows us to pass on reasonable prices for these custom pieces. Also, since every piece is hand made, it is relatively simple to replicate (with slight alteration) most every piece.

Leigh & Michael Designs accepts PayPay and all major credit card processed through their site. (Please convo for this option.) All purchases are final on custom and personalized orders (except in the case of mis-spelling). Thank You for your order and look forward to doing business with you.
Shipping
All items will be shipped Standard: USPS First Class Mail (2-3 Day Delivery). Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee. Please convo me if this is needed, increased cost will be passed along.

Turn around time. The average timeline for a custom order is 1-2 weeks to be mailed. In general it takes about 5-7 days to complete an item. And then standard shipping via USPS takes 2 to 5 days to arrive. An e-mail with tracking number will be sent upon completion of the project with the ship date.

Shipping pricing is per each piece. Standard shipping is defined as USPS (United States Postal Service First Class Mail), in the continental USA. International rates differ.

Q: What is your turn around?
A: Turn around time. The average timeline for a custom order is 7-12 day to arrive. In general it takes about 5-7 days to complete an item. Standard shipping via USPS takes 2 to 5 days to arrive. An e-mail with tracking number will be sent upon completion of the project with the ship date. Ready to ship items will be in the mail the next day.

Q: Who are Leigh & Michael?
A: Leigh & Michael are mine and my husband's middle names. We were looking for a creative name for our shop that was subtle and reflective of us.

Q: Will you do custom orders?
A: I can make anything, just send me a personalized message and we can come up with something :-)

Q: Can I customize a diaper cake?
A: Yes, all cakes are handmade and unique. You can contact us and describe what you are looking for and in what price range and we can create a beautiful gift accordingly. We will also gladly work from photographs, or drawings.

Q: When is a good occasion to give a diaper cake as a gift?
A: Diaper cakes are a great gift that draw a lot of attention, and really stand out as a party and gift favorite. Bring them to a mom-to-be as a practical gift (all babies use diapers) in a beautiful, eloquent and memorial way. BUT don't forget; all babies need diapers!! Leigh & Michael can make diaper cakes in a variety of ways; numbers, letters, animals, boy and girl cakes, use your imagination and we will as well. They also make great holiday gifts and 1st birthday presents.
