Cre8tions... from the very beginning...

Both of my parents have encouraged my curiosity & creative pursuits for as long as I can remember. They think my crafting addiction started with the fully functional basic sewing machine they gave me for Christmas when I was 5. It was like the Easy Bake Oven equivalent of sewing machines, and I loved it. It came with a few patterns and I made my own pillow and a few other toys.

I loved school projects that required posters & dioramas, and was often found writing and illustrating my own stories throughout my school years. Later I fell in love with photography and borrowed my Dad's camera throughout high school until I got my own. In 1998, I started scrapbooking. It was a natural progression, combining the paper crafting, journaling, and photography hobbies that I had loved for so long.

In 2008, I started making jewelry, in 2010 bought a new sewing machine, and in 2012 my Dad taught me how to use a table saw & a small hand held saw to make wall art for my son's bedroom.

Crafting for us is family time, and is our art therapy. My kids create Perler Bead Crafts & have their own Stop Motion Animation channels on YouTube. We craft because we love it, and we craft because it's fun. We love learning new things, so I'm sure as time goes on, we'll add more shop sections and have added some new hobbies to our creative repertoire.

I'm always working on something. Scrapbooking is my longest running & favorite hobby. I also enjoy making jewelry, photography, travel, & spending time with my family. I encourage my kids to be creative too, so I gave them a section of my shop.
