About LeopoldDesigns

Sales 31
On Etsy since 2010

I've had some wonderful careers in my life ... but this one is all mine.

After majoring in Surface Design for Fabric from East Carolina University School of Fine Arts, I designed for the two top upholstery designer/manufacturers in the world. Those were fantastic experiences, and I got to see my work in international showrooms!!
I then freelanced, designing home interior fabrics, and doing production shading print approval. Not quite as "glamorous"... think: sitting in a trailer outside a print plant all night!! ha!! I was also taking and printing a lot of my own photography at the time. Truly a freelancer!! :)
I then spent an awesome 8 years at a top video game developer as a texture artist and also did some 3d modeling.

Now, I'm making my own art into my own business. I am really enjoying the exploration of design, color, technique, shape, while trying to maintain the right discipline to be a business owner!

Now, go on... check out my fabrics. I hope you love them and they put you in a good mood.

I have a LOT of fun creating each of these scarves... I hope you get as much enjoyment from wearing them (you could even display them on the wall...)

This is a hand-crafted item, and imperfections in design and material are... awesome!
