About

Fashion with a Social Element

The clothing industry is notorious for exploiting people. From taking advantage of women's self esteem, to arbitrary sizing, all the way to allowing the mistreatment of impoverished people in a starving nation.
Most consumers have long given up trying to right the wrongs of the big players in the fashion game.
What if I told you that you aren't the only one feeling helpless to change the loathsome tendencies of the fashion industry? Most people have become complacent because they don't think they have a choice.

I HAVE MADE IT MY MISSION TO GIVE YOU BETTER CHOICES.

I started with a team of seamstresses. Back then the store was called Leslie's Lovelies. (I had to change the name because people thought I was running a call girl service! It's ok, you can laugh.) We work to ethically produce clothing and accessories. Soon I will be launching a website where I will also be including manufactured items. The production of those items has been done domestically and I have carefully followed their creation to ensure their quality and commitment to our mission.
I am proud to provide jobs in my local economy and to provide you with better choices. To join the discussion, and truly see where social and fashion cross (does the logo make more sense now?), visit our Facebook page: facebook.com/soshalfashon

Do you know the main lesson I learned working in the corporate world? Offices are cold! Although I include a variety of complimentary items in my product lines, I still focus on those that will fight the chill of over air conditioned spaces.
