A few years ago some of my friends talked me into learning how to play Magic the Gathering. I was a huge WoW nerd at the time* and really wanted nothing to do with much else game-wise but I gave in since it was something new (plus I like the dice! Glitter ones, marbled ones! So many to collect...)

What I started to realize was that the more cards I acquired the more irritating it was to keep them organized and in good shape. So being the girl I am I decided to concoct a type of bag I could carry easily in my purse or just on its own to keep everything organized and safe.

I originally started out making my very small bags with the specialty pockets for small decks. Back then I had a different shop where I sold them and other items I also make like handbags. After I sold a few online and to some friends I decided that I wanted to try and sell them on their own and have a brand new shop with a catchy name and logo** and so I created Level 8 Seamstress.

Since then I have been able to move on or perhaps level up my skills and my bags and now I make larger, sturdier messenger bags with the specialty deck pockets in varying sizes and fabrics. Eventually I added a custom/Made to Order option for several of the messengers. These are currently my most popular bags since you can choose your own color/fabric combos and I'll make a bag from scratch.

I really couldn't be more thrilled with what I am doing and as long as people are interested in keeping their TCG decks, cards and dice safe and organize I am happy to keep offering my sewing skills for the task. I also welcome questions about having something added to a bag or other interesting queries. I am always up for a challenge and always happy to listen and try something new.

* Disclaimer: I am still a huge WoW nerd just in a less time consuming and more fun, fangirl kind of way. Also Horde ftw.
