I love this bag. It is beautifully made and perfect for keeping my yarn and project organized. Beats the ziplock bag I had been using for my TAAT socks. Thanks so much.

Super cute and perfect for travelling! I especially love the snap closure yarn guides that let me switch out projects. Thank you!

Welcome to Liberty Avenue Bags! We specialize in handmade project bags for knitters and crocheters. The project bags are our original design. They have several features you won't find in other bags. We think you'll agree that our bags are a big improvement over totes and sacks that simply hold your yarn. See the "additional information" section for a description of how to use the features of the bags.

If you don't see a bag made in your favorite color or pattern you can see some of our other fabrics at http://www.flickr.com/photos/37203608@N03/ We'd be happy to custom make one for you using your fabric choice.

Some of our bags feature knitting themed machine embroidery. We also offer custom embroidery on the bags so you can have your initials, name, or saying embroidered on your bag. We welcome custom orders so contact us with your requests.

HOW TO USE A PROJECT BAG FROM LIBERTY AVENUE BAGS
Put your yarn in the bag. There are 2 yarn guides inside the bag that snap closed. Open the yarn guide and place the end of the yarn between the bag and the guide before snapping it closed. Pull the yarn out of the ball far enough to extend beyond the top of the bag. If you are using two balls of yarn do the same for the second ball. Then, fold the flap over the top of the bag and snap shut. The yarn should come out the top of the bag between the side of the bag and the flap. There is plenty of room for the yarn to feed through the guide and out the top of the bag without damaging the yarn. Cast on your project and knit with your bag closed. Store your work-in-progress and needles inside the snapped bag. If you like to take your project with you, simply snap the handle around your wrist, purse or belt loops and knit on-the-go.
