Amigurumi + videogames = ♥

Christmas eve 2010 Annie received a book from her mother as a christmas present. The book was filled with crocheted creatures called amigurumis, and though Annie didn't know how to crochet she decided to give it a go (with some help from her mother, of course).

A few months later she started making her own crochet patterns. As she loves videogames the step to make video game themed amigurumis weren't that far. As she thought of a way of sharing her patterns with fellow gamers out there she found Etsy, and in July 2011 she opened up this store with just one pattern; the Ocarina of Time.

Since then many other crochet patterns have joined the store, and in 2014 Annie is still going strong working on new amigurumis and high quality patterns every day. The new name of the shop, "gemugurumi", is a play on words with the japanese word for "game" (gēmu, ゲーム) and "amigurumi".

Hi there, and welcome!

In my shop I sell mostly video game inspired amigurumi crochet patterns. I started out making them for myself but wanted to share them with other gamers out there which made me end up here on Etsy. Almost every penny that I make here goes to yarn expenses and whatnot, so you could say that every sale sponsors me in the making of new amigurumis! : )

I tend to mostly sell high quality PDF amigurumi crochet patterns with detailed descriptions, guides and images made by me. The goal is that I wouldn't sell anything I wouldn't buy myself, and my standard's pretty high!

Everything I sell is completely made by me, even though most of the amigurumis are inspired of video game characters that I do not take credit for.

If you want a finished product of the patterns that I'm selling, please contact me and we'll discuss it : )
