Liesl Pawliw Handmade
Liesl’s earliest memories include holding her mother’s and grandmother’s hands while playing with the shiny rings they wore. From an early age, Liesl was captivated by jewelry. As a young girl she loved crafting and was stringing beaded necklaces, weaving thread into bracelets, and twisting wire into rings. Her love of creating led her to study in the Bay Area. Liesl graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Academy of Art College and the University of San Francisco. She furthered her studies at College of Marin.
Liesl is driven by creating. Designing and crafting jewelry is her passion and she is ever grateful to have the opportunity to create pieces that can serve as a lasting piece of art to be treasured and worn by others as a form of expression. Her designs are unique and often inspired by the stones with which she works. Her jewelry transcends trends as she is inspired by both vintage and modern art and creates timeless pieces. Although she works with various materials, her work is primarily 14k and 18k gold, 14k gold fill, sterling silver and both precious and semi-precious stones.
Liesl lives in Sun Valley, Idaho with her artist husband and their daughter. Her studio is in Ketchum in Ming Boutique, where she handcrafts each piece herself.
