Thank you for visiting Lilhouette, where you can find fine handmade gemstone necklaces, earrings, sets and more, perfect both for yourself or as a gift! I am enamored of all things gem -- the individuality and unique beauty of each stone or pearl speaks of the stunning variety available in nature, and adds luxury and opulence to each piece I make. My designs are inspired by the gemstones themselves, and I use only silver, sterling silver, copper or 14/20 gold fill metals unless otherwise noted. Each piece of jewelry is lovingly handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring its durability for years to come. I welcome all questions and customer service is of the highest importance, so please don’t hesitate to contact me!

Payment
I am happy to accept payments via PayPal as well as Etsy's new Direct Checkout option, which processes major credit cards directly. If you have any questions about the checkout process, Etsy has provided a wonderful How To article on paying via PayPal here: http://www.etsy.com/storque/how-to/how-to-pay-with-a-credit-card-and-create-a-paypal-account-746/ , and a Help article on using Direct Checkout here: http://www.etsy.com/help/article/1939 .

Payment is due at the time of purchase. If you are not able to immediately complete payment, please convo me to let me know. If I still haven’t received payment within 48 hours, I reserve the right to cancel the order and relist the item. I’d rather not have to do that however; a convo is so much more preferable! If you adore an item but have to wait until payday to purchase it, let me know and I’d be happy to reserve a listing for you. Reserved listings will be held for 72 hours.
Shipping
I ship USPS First Class mail, with complimentary Delivery Confirmation added at no extra charge. I tend to ship 3 times a week, sometimes more: if you need something expedited, please convo me *before* purchasing so we can work out preferred ship methods and costs.

Please make sure your Etsy and PayPal addresses match; or indicate in the “Message to Seller” which address you would prefer to be used. Address mix-ups are no fun whatsoever, and rather than risk shipping to the house you moved out of 2 years ago, it’s easier to iron out any kinks beforehand. I am happy to send items as gifts as well -- just let me know!

Your handmade jewelry will be shipped in a 100% recycled jewelry box with decorative label and cushion padding inside; this box will then be safely wrapped in recycled tissue and placed in either a bubble mailer or a shipping box. To reduce waste, multiple items will be placed in one jewelry box -- if you need multiple boxes, just let me know!

A note on international orders: I adore shipping internationally, it makes me dream of lands exotic and new! However, keep in mind that some shipments may incur customs or duties fees as they make their way overseas. These fees are calculated by the destination customs officials and I can in no way predict what they may or may not be. Any such duties or fees are the responsibility of the customer. Additionally, international packages can sometimes take quite a while to arrive, with delays being possible on either end. Please allow up to 6 weeks for a package to arrive overseas (though really I’ve rarely had to wait that long. Generally most international packages find their way within 2 weeks.)
Refunds and Exchanges
Let’s not be hasty, folks. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase in any way, please convo me to work out a solution before leaving neutral or negative feedback. I am happy to make any repairs or simple changes at no extra cost, but will need you to ship the item back to me to do so. I try to ensure that all my listings accurately reflect the length and size of the piece, so please read closely to ensure a necklace will fit before purchasing. If, once you receive an item, you simply decide you don’t want it any more, please send it back within 14 days of receipt and I will be happy to refund the purchase price (minus shipping costs.) All returns should be in resellable condition and in their original packaging. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the product, I cannot accept returns on earrings unless a defect is present. Custom orders *may* be returnable on a case-by-case basis.
Additional policies and FAQs
You remember how I said before that I love gemstones because they are uniquely beautiful? This uniquity often shows itself in minor inclusions (or sometimes major ones: it’s the special attraction of certain stones like moss aquamarine, rutilated quartz, and sunstone!), some cloudiness (rubies can be deliciously opaque!), and differences in shape and size as my stones are hand-faceted and pearls generally grow the way Mama Nature wants them to. I try to ensure that all my product photos accurately reflect the full nature of the piece; anything not in the photos will be listed in the description. This includes length and size, so please read closely to get the correct dimensions. Product photos are often close-ups -- clearly your necklace will not be 1000 pixels wide!

Sometimes my necklaces have extender chains on them, so you can alter the length of the drop. My standard length is 16" - 18" for a necklace, and extender chains are around 2" long. If you see a necklace in my shop that you like, but you need an extender (or need it shortened, or lengthened, etc.) please convo me and I’d be happy to work out a piece in your favorite length! The easiest way to find out what that length is is to measure a necklace you already have, or even just lay a string around your neck to the preferred length and measure that.

At this time I unfortunately cannot accept wholesale orders. It’s just me in my studio (read: spare bedroom) and I’d rather not sacrifice quality for quantity. However, I am thrilled to accept custom orders, bridal requests, and bridesmaid’s gift orders, so feel free to contact me to set up your ideal unique piece of handmade jewelry! For custom and bulk orders, I do require a 50% deposit at time of order, with the remaining 50% due upon completion. Please allow 2-5 weeks time for custom orders.

Note: While I would love to be the next face of “Quit Your Day Job,” such is currently not the case, and I do work your standard 40+ hour office job. This means -- so long as I want to keep that job -- I should not be Etsy-ing around whilst at work. So if you contact me and don’t receive an immediate response, please don’t feel slighted: just picture me in a cubicle and feel sorry for me till around 6:00pm EST when I will happily return your convo!
