I crochet.
Lillian Alice Design was established in 2015, and is dedicated to my mother, who taught me the foundations of crochet when I was 7 years old. As a young child, I was always obsessed with creating. I would always watch my mother spend hours making detailed afghans, scarves and various other sewing and craft projects. I've always had a passion and appreciation for art.
I recently picked up crochet again, and once I started I couldn't stop. I began making sweaters in January 2015, and transitioned into swimwear in April 2015. I truly enjoy making, and pursuing my handmade passion.
I am a lover of all things vintage and I am an avid thrifter.
I am inspired by my coastal surroundings as well as vintage bohemian and urban fashion.
Being a one woman show can be stressful, but it's completely worth it.
In December 2015, the Persephone top was featured in Marie Claire Australia's shop the shoot page (check out my shop updates!) This was an exciting achievement, and helped me realize the importance of pursuing my dreams.
I have found that when I am doing the work of designing, creating and managing my shop, I feel the most invigorated.
Thank you for visiting my shop and reading my story!
Love,
Regina
