Lilly's Bead Box Natural Gemstone Jewelry Supplier: Established in 2002

In Knoxville, Tennessee...on a whim. In 2002, I was working as a rehabilitation counselor...and not loving it. I had a dream about opening a retail shop...not a solid dream, just a vague desire with no parameters. I was inspired by the woman I worked for in High School who owned her own retail clothing store just for teens. It was a thriving successful business and I was smitten. However, life took over and I got a Masters degree in something else and it just hadn't happened...

In 2002, I discovered beads...gemstone beads to be specific. A friend was making jewelry with rubies and sapphires. It wasn't just the amazing jewelry that hooked me...it was the gemstones. I have been in love with gemstones since I was little. My Dad took me Ruby mining on our vacations to North Carolina and I loved the hidden treasure hunts. Almost immediately, my mind put the two things together and I realized what wanted to do. I wanted to open a bead store.

After a ton of research, a location search and maxing out 3 credit cards, Lilly's Bead Box was born. I made friends with an Indian man from Punjab and began importing high quality gemstones on a regular basis. I was in heaven and my business was soaring!

Over the years we have had our ups and downs. I went throught a bad divorce in 2010 and nearly lost the business. Over the couple years following the divorce motiviation and money were in short supply. I really thought I was through. My sales were sharply down in my retail shop and my ETSY shop. Nothing I tried worked and when my ideas failed, so did my spirit.

Towards the end of 2013 I got some of my mojo back and decided to do a HUGE trunk show at my retail store with a Chinese vendor friend. I was really worried because I did not want to let him down with poor sales. I pulled out all the stops for marketing and it paid off. The show was a success.

On the heels of that success, I started trying new things with Lilly's and also begain looking at my ETSY shop with a new, fresh vision. What was wrong with it? Well, I think ETSY had grown and changed and I had failed to keep up. My tags were awful and sparse, my titles backwards, Pictures were decent but they needed support. So I tackled that with a renewed vigor. Lo and behold, my sales started going up. By double. Now I have goals for my ETSY shop...and I think I know how to reach them. I want to get back to my 2010 sales level, (5 times what I did last year). At the rate I am going it wont be this year. I will get about half way there this year. Don't count me out though! I am a hard worker and now that my vision has cleared, look out world! Lilly's Bead Box is on the rise again!

*** One that is important to note when you are choosing your gemstone bead or beading supplier in general. Here at Lilly's WE know how to make jewelry! We know the supplies we are selling personally and we can tell you HOW to use them, WHEN to use them and which ones are the best for your project. I think that is a huge plus in a supplier!!

Payment
Payment is expected at the time of order via direct checkout or Paypal. If you are not ready to purchase, please convo me and ask for a reserve. I will reserve an item for you for 3 days.
Shipping
Items are shipped out via USPS first class mail with delivery confirmation within 24 hours of purchase unless it is the weekend. If an order comes in after 12 noon on Friday, it will be shipped on the following Monday. I offer discounted rates for purchases of more than one item!

International Shipping: Most of the time international shipping does not include tracking or delivery confirmation. Slowly, this option is becoming available in some countries, but it is not the norm. If you are curious about transit times or would like more information on shipping from the USA to your country please feel free to contact me with any questions and I will do my best to answer.

!!!Please keep in mind that during sales our shipping will be a bit slower!!!

Please remember, that if we are having a sale things get a little crazy. We do our best, but during sales, the average shipping is more like 48 hours...sometimes even longer if you have a long and complicated order with lots of convos and items etc. Please be patient...we love to make you happy, hate to make mistakes:)

If you would like to insure your package please let me know. I will insure it and send you a bill for the extra charges.

I accept returns/exchanges. If you are unhappy with your purchase in any way, please contact me! I want you to be happy with your purchase. It for any reason, you think you need to leave me a feedback that is not exemplary...let me know and I will fix whatever you need me to fix!
Additional policies and FAQs
Discounts:

I do discounts on a case by case basis as some of my items are already listed at wholesale or on sale. Other items can be discounted as much as 25% for larger or quantity orders. If you are making a large order or would like multiples of a single item, please let me know which items you want and I will let you know if I can discount the items and how much the discount will be. Then I will set you up a reserve listing reflecting your prices.
