We are two sisters, with two little girls, and we are on the hunt for our favorite toys from childhood. Along the way we are sure to discover other fantastic vintage items, and the stuff we don't keep for ourselves we will share with you!
We don't sell new or repro retro items, at least not on purpose. We research our items so that we may bring you the story behind it as well as the most competitive price. If you're seeing it in our store, you can bet we've already googled it and checked out other sellers.
We sell vintage items, so by definition they are old. Unless we indicate the item is new or mint, it is safe to say the item has been used. We will try to describe the level of use and wear in our listing, but sometimes what we feel is "light wear", you might consider otherwise. Please look carefully at the pictures and read our listing description. If you like an item but just aren't sure you're ready to commit, please convo us and we can get you more pictures or details.
We accept PayPal, credit card, and money orders. If you do pay with money order, we will wait until it is received to ship your item.
Payment should be made within 48 hours. If you cannot pay within that 2 day window, convo us and we will try to work with you.
We will ship within 24 hours of confirmation of payment. If you want the item(s) insured, you will have to indicate that at the time of purchase and include that with your payment.
We will ship internationally, convo us if you need international shipping cost for an item.
We do our best to estimate the cost of shipping and any supplies we might need, but sometimes we are wrong. If we overcharge you by more than $2, we will refund the overage amount by the same form of payment you used to purchase the item (PayPal, credit card, money order, etc.).
We try to recycle most of our shipping supplies so you may find that your box is marked up, taped up and even a little bit tore up. Please know that we have secured your item safely inside, probably with yesterday's newspaper or shredded secret documents.
|::If you do not want delivery confirmation or insurance, we can not be responsible for the USPS delivery time or damage in transit. If you need it fast, please request priority mail. If shipping greatly differs, we will ask for you to help with that cost::|
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unsatisfied with your item or feel that we misrepresented it in our listing, please let us know. We clean up the items as best we can without damaging the integrity. We also try to include pics evidencing any damage or wear to the item.
::Ceramic and glass pieces:: We do our best to ensure that your item arrives to you safe and sound; we cannot be responsible for damage in transit (insurance!). Accidents happen, so if your item(s) is broken in the mail let us know. We, again, want to work with you. Store credits may be given on a case-by-case basis.
Additional Policies and FAQs
We love books, who doesn't? When you purchase four books your fifth is free, buy eight books and you get two free. What a deal! As with all deals, there's a catch: You get the cheapest books free. To get this deal just convo us - we respond almost immediately - and we'll get you set up.
This is a hobby for us, we enjoy the hunt and knowing that someone will enjoy our find. If you've been looking for something from YOUR childhood, let us know and we'll keep an eye out for you. We want your repeat and word-of-mouth business.
