Welcome to Lily in the Sand! Here you will find unique, inspired, handcrafted gifts. Thank you so very much for stopping by my little art boutique. My goal is to provide my customers with highly unique handcrafted works of art and 100% satisfaction!
A happy customer (you) makes a happy seller (me) and I will do all that I can to accommodate your wishes and needs with any transaction. I love to create unique gifts and would be happy to customize a piece for you.
There are two kinds of orders:
1) Ready Ship Items. These are items that I have already made so you will receive the exact item in the photos and as described in the listing.
2) Customized artwork/Commissioned Artwork: will be listed as such and include all the details that may be customized. If you would like a custom order please contact me so that we can creatively discuss the piece you would like made. Once details have been discussed I will make a listing just for you to purchase from my shop! :)
*Please note, any custom piece will take time for me to make. Generally it will take me a few days to make and ship, a week at the most.

I accept PayPal payments (which includes Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex). I believe this is a very secure system for customers, it enables great communication, and fast processing on all orders.
On large commission/custom works, a deposit is to be paid before work ensues and materials are purchased.

Already Made/Ready Ship Items:
Already made items will be shipped out no more than 3 days after payment is received. This is to ensure correct and careful packaging of your purchase. Shipping generally takes around a week to arrive.
Shipping Custom Orders/Commissions:
These items require time for me to hand craft for you. They will be shipped to you as soon as they are completed and carefully packaged. I have included information in every listing for a custom order/commissioned item regarding an estimate for how long it will take to create the piece and estimated shipping time.
If you have any questions regarding shipping or the creation period for your item please contact me. I am happy to keep you informed during the process. :)
If you would like to request a specific shipping method please contact me before the purchase of your item to discuss pricing. I choose to ship with UPS ground service, they are quick and reliable. I will send a message as soon as an item is shipped and also make sure that the delivery of the package is confirmed by UPS.
-If you would like to ensure your package for an extra shipping charge please contact me PRIOR to your purchase and I will calculate the extra postage.
Sorry, I DO NOT ship internationally at this time.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do accept returns on jewelry, as long as it is mailed back within one week of the package being received. If you wish to make a return please contact me first as I would like to know what is wrong with the item or why you are unhappy with the purchase. It is my goal to provide 100% satisfaction to all of my customers.
Generally, I do not accept returns on art dolls or custom work pieces.
Cancellation of Commissioned/Custom Items:
It is possible to cancel a commissioned piece early in the creation process and before work has begun. However, once specific materials have been purchased and/or work has begun, full refunds may not be available.
~~~~DAMAGED ITEM DUE TO SHIPPING POLICIES~~~~~~~~
Each item I sell is handled with care and is packaged appropriately. It is highly unlikely that damage will occur to your purchase due to shipping. However, I care deeply about my customer's satisfaction, my reputation, and my work so below is my general policy should damage occur due to shipping.
Customer must contact me within 2 days of the item's arrival to notify me that it is damaged due to shipping. Then we will discuss the condition of the item and possible steps for repair. If the seller would like to ship the item back to me for repair I will gladly do my best to correct any flaws in the item as discussed. I will then ship it back in its repaired condition free of charge. Please note that once an item is damaged in certain ways, I may not be able to repair it to like new condition or at all.
* The buyer must pay for return shipping of the damaged merchandise. When the damaged merchandise is received by me, I will begin work on the repair.
~~~~~~LOST ITEM POLICIES~~~~
All Lost Items:
It is highly unlikely that a shipment will be lost. Our postal system is usually very reliable. Please keep in mind that domestic shipping states that a package is not truly lost until 21 days after it has been shipped. Sometimes, for various reasons a parcel may take a long time to arrive. While this is rare, it can happen. I can not file a "lost" package claim until this amount of time has passed. Most occasions, a seemingly lost package does show up within this time. If a package is lost, you may be asked to complete a form for the claim.
-I am not responsible for lost packages once shipping has occurred. I do everything possible to ensure that your item arrives to you on time and undamaged. If the piece is lost I can not replace it or refund you for your purchase.
*I will always provide proof of shipment to the buyer as requested.
I take great care in all of the work that I do. If for any reason you feel dissatisfied with my jewelry or artwork upon receiving it please contact me right away. I will always do my best to ensure your 100% satisfaction with your experience at Lily In The Sand.
Additional Policies and FAQs
Further General Information for Custom/Commission Orders:
-I make items in the order that they are purchased. I do not allow more than two of these items to be in process at one time. If I have two orders already I will put your name on a waiting list if requested. Please also allow time for shipping.
-If you would like to further customize an item (beyond what is listed in a "custom listing", please contact me and I will create a listing with your exact specifications. These modifications must be discussed and agreed upon BEFORE purchase. I will then create a listing just for you as a Commissioned item. :)
-I am happy to completely customize/commission a piece for you. However, any customization options need to be discussed prior to purchase.
- If work has already begun and you wish to make changes, these need to be discussed immediately otherwise I may not be able to accommodate them. (For example, you want to change the hair color on a doll after the creation process has already begun. If I have already wigged the doll then I will not be able to change this aspect of the customization and the transaction will be completed according to the original listing specifications)
