From Beachcomber to Business Owner

I live in a small town on Cape Cod. It's is a beautiful place where the ocean meets the beaches, where water and sky become one. It has always been a favorite place of authors and artists, a place conducive to inspiration and creativity. Summers are hot and busy - full of energy and throngs of sun-kissed people, while winters are the extreme opposite: quiet, desolate, still. There's beauty everywhere you look: the waves, the beaches, the dunes, and forests.

I first started making jewelry with pebbles and pieces of sea glass that I found on the beach and I enjoyed it tremendously. I have worked on several different projects since then, exploring different materials and ideas.

Jewelry design and creation has become a hobby and something that brings joy, beauty, and peace to my life and, I hope, the lives of my customers as well.

Wholesale availability

I have established wholesale accounts and I would love to talk to you about my wholesale prices and options.

Shipping methods

I ship strictly USPS First Class unless you let me know well in advance that you have other preferences. I can ship USPS overnight, as well as FedEx and UPS for additional shipping charge that depends on the destination, weight, and shipping preferences. Please let me know before you place the order if you want to use FedEx or UPS and we can arrange that.

Within the United States you also have the option of Priority Mail. You can select that option at checkout. Choosing Priority Shipping, however, will not speed up my production time. I always try to ship out as soon as possible, but as I have specified on etsy, my production time is 3-5 business days.

Item missing, but marked as "Delivered"

The only way I will issue a refund for an item marked as Delivered is if you provide me with proof that you went to the post office and filed a LOST AND STOLEN claim and reported the item as missing. If you do not want to go to the post office and report the item, I cannot issue a refund. I hope you can understand why.

I wrote the wrong address, but the item has already shipped

Please make sure your address is correct or let me know immediately after placing the order. I am not responsible for packages sent to the wrong address or packages lost because of insufficient or inadequate information. I will not refund your order if your package gets lost under these conditions, I hope that you can understand why. If your item was delivered to the wrong address because you didn't contact me on time, you are responsible for the loss of the package. If and when it gets returned to me, I can resend it if you are willing to pay for the additional shipping charges.

Refunds and exchanges

The satisfaction of my customers is my goal, so I have a two-week return policy for unworn, undamaged products. The two-week period starts on the date your order has been delivered. If there is a problem with my jewelry please write to me as soon as possible: I will be more than happy to resolve the issue IMMEDIATELY. If for any reason you are unhappy with my jewelry, I will either replace the item, give you store credit, or refund the purchase entirely. Return shipping fees are non-refundable and the responsibility of the customer. I will refund your order when I receive the jewelry back.

UK customers

I would like to address all of my international customers that upon purchasing something from my shop, you may be charged import duty depending on the laws of your country. Please read the laws and guidelines regarding import duty in your country and be prepared that you may have to pay certain fees and taxes upon receiving the package. It is the responsibility of the buyer to cover those fees and taxes, so please be aware of that. I am in no way responsible for any import duty, taxes, and/or fees incurred by local customs.

This is especially valid for my UK customers. Please be prepared that you may be charged VAT and other fees. Know the laws before placing the order, I am not responsible for import VAT, import duty, or fees.

International orders

Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery if ordering from outside the US. From experience I can say that packages to Canada and Europe take on average about a week to ten days, and packages to Australia take about two weeks. However, this is an approximation and sometimes customs can hold on to a package, so please bear in mind that it can take longer.
