Ich lebte auf einer kleinen Insel direkt vor der Küste Finnlands. Dort war nicht viel los.
Eines Tages ergatterte ich eine Rolle russischen Leinenstoffs und verbrachte einen langen Sommer damit, herauszufinden, wie man den Stoff zuschneidet und die Stücke zusammennäht. Die Kleidungsstücke verkaufte ich später auf dem lokalen Markt.
Linnes and Wolf entwickelte sich langsam zu der Bekleidungsmarke, die sie heute ist.
Die Lust auf Abenteuer, gepaart mit günstigen Strömungen und Winden, veranlasste mich, über den Atlantik zu treiben und schließlich in Brooklyn, New York, vor Anker zu gehen.
Linnes and Wolf hat sich im pulsierenden Viertel Greenpoint niedergelassen, einem Ort, an dem urbaner Lifestyle und internationale Einflüsse unsere zeitlosen Kleidungsstücke prägen. Heute hat Linnes and Wolf seinen Hauptsitz in Brooklyn, doch die Designs entstehen durch mich in Schweden, genauer gesagt in der Region Nordland. Oder Norrland, wie die Einheimischen sagen.

I was living on a small island just off the coast in Finland. Not much was going on.
One day I got hold of a roll of Russian linen fabric, and spent a long summer vacation figuring out how to cut up the fabric and stitch the pieces together. The garments were later sold at the local market.
Linnes and Wolf slowly developed into the clothing-line it is today.
A taste for adventure combined with favorable currents and winds, caused me to drift across the Atlantic and finally drop anchor in Brooklyn, NY.
Linnes and Wolf has set up shop in the vibrant neighborhood of Greenpoint, a place where urban lifestyle and international influences inspire our timeless garments. Today Linnes and Wolf has its headquarters in Brooklyn, but the designs are created by me in Sweden, in the area called North-Land. Or Norrland, by the natives.
