These cards are even more wonderful in person. I sent them to friends for Valentine's Day and they were a huge success. Lisa was very prompt with delivery.

Perfect for holiday greetings; a fun, joyful illustration on excellent high-quality paper!
Making Things (up)
Most of my illustrations begin as stories in my head – often about animal characters like Rabbit Rabbit. Animals make wonderful subjects because we always seem to find ourselves when we look at them. Shy, brash, tender – they reveal our own stories in their expressions.
Rabbit Rabbit himself began as a whimsical custom: If, on the first day of the month, you say “Rabbit Rabbit” right away when you wake up, you'll have good luck all month long. When rabbits began proliferating in my artwork, Rabbit Rabbit emerged as a figure representing this tradition. Since then he has become much more. You might call him a muse – or a sidekick.
Most of my art starts on paper with watercolor or ink. Every piece is then scanned and further refined digitally. I don't really consider my pieces finished until they are printed. I produce my prints myself on a giclee printer.
I feel very lucky that I get to spend my days in my favorite way: reading, writing, and making things (up).
Once a month I publish a newsletter called *Rabbit Rabbit* to share what's new in the studio and wish my readers and collectors good luck and creative karma. Subscribe and join the fun → http://eepurl.com/fgTK6
