About

Creating glass beads is my passion. It is one of those happy accidents in life that you never foresee.

The beauty of my work is based in in the material itself: waves of light frozen in glass. I practiced architecture for many years before becoming a glass bead artisan. This influence can be seen in the bold colors and platonic forms of my work, redefining the traditional round glass bead. I craft all of my beads by hand in my studio. The beads are the foundation of my unique jewelry designs that draw inspiration from a broad variety of influences from the retro patterns of the 1950’s to the organic forms of branches and stones. I have won many awards at local art shows and been featured in several newspaper articles highlighting my work. I live in Cincinnati Ohio with her husband and son and joke that playing with fire is the favorite part of my day.

My glass bead jewelry business is an example of the serendipity you can find when you are open to opportunities and allow life to take you in directions you had never intended. I was drug very reluctantly and against my better judgement to my first glass bead making class by a friend on a Thanksgiving weekend Saturday in 2006. She has continued her law career and here I am completely addicted to the torch!

I make unique handcrafted lampwork bead jewelry and accessories. All of the glass beads are handcrafted by me in my studio. I have taken my love of form, color and texture developed over 15 years as a practicing architect and have translated it into wearable art.

I do custom requests. Because I make each bead and each piece of jewelry by hand one at a time, feel free to request an alternate length, color or size for any piece or any ideas you have.
