Lisa Jack Jewelry started about a year and a half ago when my sister, who has a kennel business, decided it would be fun for our pets to have jewelry that matches ours. As I started looking at what type of jewelry I'd like to create, I came across information stating that natural gemstones have healing properties. I loved the concept and decided that all my jewelry would have natural gemstones. Whether they truly help with the healing process or not, (but I've come to believe they do) they are simply beautiful!

My cat, Jack, was always by my side when I worked on jewelry. He was always sniffing the gemstones and of course modeling my prototypes. So . . . I decided to hire him. His official title is "Guardian of the Gemstones". He inspects them as they come in and guards over them in their special box. He must be doing a fantastic job as we've never had a complaint and never had a robbery.

We have beautiful wire-wrapped gemstone necklaces, memory wire bracelets and earrings as well. A good many pieces have pet charms to match. One section of the shop is pet charms only. Some of my pet charms are made with a St. Francis medal. St. Francis is the patron saint of animals. So his presence in my shop is welcomed.

Jack also has his own section in the shop. We've begun a line of jewelry with pet charms strictly for the felines. These charms are more petite and feature a tiny, elegant cat figure on each one. Necklaces with these cat figures are created to match. The line has been named "Jick Jack Patty Cat" - one of those silly affectionate nicknames I call him sometimes.

I love creating beautiful jewelry. I love animals. I love the gemstones. And I love my Jack.
