SHOP LOCAL ANYTIME - GROWop (902 N. 6th Street, Roosevelt Row, Phx).

Mesa Art Center (MAC) Artists' Co-op Store (1 E. Main Street, Mesa) .

Welcome! Here you'll find the latest flashes of creative inspiration from my studio in Phoenix, Arizona. Think playful, retro, vintage, recycled, sustainable. Traditions made contemporary. Inspired by human made ironies and found objects from nature. Supportive of artistic traditions that are passed from the hands of grandmother to grandchild or from my hands to yours. Hopefully some of the items on this site will make you laugh out loud. Hopefully some of the stories that accompany these items will be memorable enough for you to pass along to a friend. I am glad to be part of the community that is etsy.com where we can celebrate and support handmade traditions in a whole new way.

MATHQUEZ Special: Buy any 3 bow ties in a single order today, and I'll donate 25% of your purchase directly to www.1000daysofbowties.com. Go there to read more about 6th grade math teacher Mr. Vasquez and his campaign to rock the bowtie for 1000 consecutive days, raising funds that go directly to kids in NYC Achievement First schools! Donations go straight to Mr. Vasquez for math instruction - manipulatives, calculators, games, workbooks, reading material that aligns to math literacy skills, etc. Look Smart and help kids Get Smarter.

Please convo me if you live outside the United States and would like me to calculate shipping costs and add them to an item before you buy.

I solar dye gorgeous wool roving all summer long(so yes, there is at least one happy artist in Arizona every time the weather forecast hits 110 degrees!). My raw wool comes from Arizona families - free range Navajo Churro sheep and local pasture raised sheep.
