What a funny little devil this is: very well made by someone who can be proud of what he/she is doing. A true little gem indeed. A real pleasure to weave on.

Welcome! Thanks for looking. I'm a fiberholic and have been spinning/dyeing since 1988, knitting etc., much longer than that. I started spinning when all you could find locally was the icky plastic yarns. I love anything soft and fuzzy.

My interests are often historical. I have been selling to re-enacters off and on for 10-15 years. They tend to appreciate the work that went into reconstructive archeology.

My specialties are finer single ply yarns, usually lace to DK weight. I use what I can get locally or things that I just couldn't resist while out and about.

My yarns are not uniform on purpose, there will be variations (thicker & thinner as well as color variations). This makes your finished product more interesting. If you wanted uniformity, you would probably have purchased machine made.

I often process my own wool. The yarns have been washed, measured and priced competitively by yardage. Hand wash (unless otherwise stated) with gentle soap (shampoo & cream rinse works great), dry flat.

If you would like your yarns wound into balls, let me know, I'll be happy to do that for you.

If I forgot something or you have questions, please e-mail me.

Please check back from time to time, I'm still building this shop site.

I will ship USPS for now. I'll make sure the item is wrapped to stay dry since they aren't very good at making sure the mailbox flap is closed or leave things on the porch to get wet.

I will ship within 2 days and send confirmation. Make sure your Paypal and Etsy addresses are correct. If insurance is not purchased I can't be held responsible for mishaps (them running over it, losing it, etc.)

I'll ship international the most economical method. You are responsible for customs fees.

I will combine shipping and will refund overages when shipped.

I will sometimes use recycled materials to ship with to do my part in keeping stuff out out the land fills.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds available on case by case basis. I understand things, like the color is just not right, or texture is wrong, etc. Must be returned in original condition with in 7 days for refund less the shipping unless something is my fault. If you are not happy, let me know so we can fix it and your happy!
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders upon request.

This is a tobacco free zone. I will not say smoke free because I will sometimes use firewood to cut down on my heating bill. Also I do public educational demo's and they will sometimes put me next to the Blacksmith or someone cooking over an open fire. In those cases, I will make every attempt to air things out or rewash them.

I also have kitties, but they are not allowed to sleep or play in the stuff. It is put away so nobody barfs or sprays anything. I also spin dog hair occasionally, (Husky down and Samoyed is wonderful) so there is that too!
