Very pretty chain. I would shop for more chains if they had more. I'm very happy with my purchase.

About

Creating My Jewelry and Fused Glass

Years ago I attended a jewelry making class with a friend, and my creative mind went wild! Shortly after that I met a local glass artist and signed up for classes at his studio. I learned how to fuse glass and fell in love with the process. Immediately I began adding fused glass pieces to my jewelry making, and a whole new level of creativity was opened up to me. Soon I purchased my own kiln and set up a makeshift studio in my home.

For my fused glass pieces I cut and layer the glass by hand, never using molds for my pendants because I prefer a more natural, organic shape. I use compatible glass that is fired & annealed (cooled) properly to assure durability. Once I am satisfied with the piece/s -- sometimes I cut or grind a piece and fire it several more times before I am satisfied -- then I will fire polish it to perfection. All glass is signed (etched with my initials) on the back.

Much of my jewelry is one-of-a-kind, especially the fused glass pieces, and I’m always finding new inspiration and color/element combinations. I get excited when my mind starts racing ahead of itself thinking of the next project. I thank God for blessing me with a creative mind as there is never a dull moment.

FYI -- My home is smoke-free, but not pet-free. I have a spunky parakeet named Peter.

My love of glass began at an early age when my mother introduced me to the beauty of Depression glass. Before that I collected rocks. Actually, I still collect rocks. Lots of rocks!
