I had so much fun creating this shabby lap desk using old beautiful wallpaper, my favorite thing to create with!

About

I started creating one-of-a-kind items for my home a few years ago after not finding what I wanted in stores...that's how my business started.

I've loved antiques all my life. I remember being a pre-teen and being attracted to "old" things. It's lasted all my life and I love the history behind old items, especially those before the 1900's.
I also am drawn to antique and vintage books and fabrics, floral boxes, especially with old wallpaper on them, and of course I could never have enough vintage wallpaper!
I'm lucky to have my own space in my home to create in. I love re-arranging it a few times a year and making room for more supplies.

My favorite items to create are journals, banners, and creative assemblages, especially for holidays....I love when a customer tells me that they love the item I've made and that it makes them happy. That's exactly what art should do!

I hope you enjoy the pictures of my studio...thanks for reading my page and I do hope it gives you some insight into my creative process....I'm inspired by so many things on a daily basis and the hard part is carving out a chunk of uninterrupted time to create what my mind is seeing.

When I don't have time to create I love to visit the local flea and antique malls to search for unusual treasures. I love finding things that are different, I feel that it makes for a more interesting shopping experience for my customers.
You never know what you'll find in my shop!

I'm a former shoe buyer for Nordstrom so I know a bit about customer service. My goal is for you to be happy with your purchase, if you aren't I will do my best to satisfy.

If you are a customer who has purchased from me before, thank you! I'm happy to do a 48 hour hold or reserve for returning customers only.
If you haven't purchased from me before, regretfully I no longer extend this courtesy due to many who don't follow through. I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience.

Purchasing with a Credit Card through PayPal

When you're ready to check out, go to your cart.

Note: Sellers choose what payment methods they accept. If you don't see PayPal as an option, the seller likely doesn't accept it. You may want to contact them to see if they can accommodate you.

Once You're Redirected to PayPal

1.) Instead of choosing to pay with your PayPal account, select the option to pay with a debit or credit card.

Shipping
I use USPS, unless otherwise noted.

I love my international customers. Because of the recent shipping increase, please convo me if you see something you love and I'll get back to you as soon as possible with a shipping quote to your country.

I cover the cost to insure all packages over $50.

I try to ship within 3 days of payment....most times it's much faster. If you need your package quickly please let me know in advance so I can accomodate you.

Please know that if you live anywhere outside of the U.S. that you are responsible for paying any customs fees for your country in order to receive your package.
If you refuse to pay your countries customs fees and wish to return your purchase instead the shipping costs for return will be paid by you, the customer.

I only ship to verified addresses, if you have made a purchase and have forgotten to update your current address then the transaction will have to be cancelled and re-purchased with your correct address. I will always notify you if this happens before I cancel your sale, but if I can't get in touch with you in a reasonable amount of time then I will cancel the transaction so that it may be purchased by someone else.
Thanks for understanding.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy with an item I will work with you until you are satisfied....I want happy customers!!! Please notify me in a timely manner (within 1 week after receiving your item) so we can work out a solution.

Most of my items are vintage and unique, one-of-a-kind items, so are therefore irreplaceable. Please read descriptions well, ask questions, and look well at my photos. I'm happy to send more if you need them to make a decision. If you do receive an item that you aren't happy with I will gladly give a refund, however shipping costs for the return is the buyer's responsibility. My only request is that the item is returned to me in the exact same condition in which it was shipped. If it's altered or broken in any way then a refund won't be given. It's also recommended that you insure your return package, just in case. It's very inexpensive and totally worth it.

If for some reason you are unhappy in any way with your transaction with me please let me know so that I can correct it before you go to Etsy or go through the hassle of opening up a case. It's not necessary where my sales are concerned, I do the right thing for my customers.

If for some reason you need to return an item I ask that you do so within 1 week of purchasing it. I consider this to be courteous to both parties. I'm on my computer all the time and will see your convo if sent. Please don't be shy!
Thanks for understanding.....;). If, for some reason you are delayed with your return a convo would be much appreciated....:).
Additional policies and FAQs
I love to do custom orders....I require 50% of the payment up front to cover costs that I may incur and the remaining once your project is complete. I'm happy to send photos of your "work in progress" to keep you updated......:).
