Sewing for the Love of It

"Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time."
- Thomas Merton

Hello, Peeps! My name is Kimmy. I’m a structural engineer by day and a crafty nerd by night. I’ve been sewing for as long as I can remember, thanks to many summers spent with my wonderful grandma. Through the years I’ve picked up, dropped, and picked up again jewelry making, scrap-booking, knitting, crocheting, you name it; but I have always sewn. It used to be that I only ever sewed clothing, stuffed animals, or the occasional household item; but recent discoveries into the world of handmade patterns available on etsy and many amazing blogger/pattern-maker’s sites has brought me into the world of handmade bags. And I've fallen...hard!

What you'll find here in my shop are items made in my spare time with some of my favorite patterns, others or my own, and with fabrics that I absolutely love. Hopefully you'll love my creations as much as I loved making them!

Thanks for stopping by!

I've been sewing as long as I can remember, thanks to my wonderful grandma. After several years on hiatus due to college, grad school and work, I'm back to sewing and couldn't be happier about it. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I do making it.
