Frequently asked questions
I want to buy more than one item. Do you offer combined shipping?
Yes, often I can combine items in the same box to save on shipping charges and will automatically issue a refund for the difference.
I use my discretion when deciding which items can be packaged together based on the safety of both items during shipping. Some fragile or odd-shaped items are difficult to package with other items and are not eligible for combined shipping. If you would like to know if the items you're interested in can be combined in the same box, contact me prior to purchase with the links to the listings you are interested in.
Do you ship internationally? What is the shipping rate to my country?
Yes, I ship internationally. To see the shipping rate to your country, enter your country in the shipping section on the page of the item you're interested in. Your customized shipping rate will display. Rates are calculated automatically by Etsy using the size/weight of the package and the distance between postal codes.
How long will it take to ship my item?
Items are shipped within 5-7 business days from the date of purchase, but often go out sooner.
Will I be able to track my order?
Yes, all orders come with tracking, and you will receive an email from Etsy Shipping Notifications with a tracking link once your item goes out.
International buyers, please note that there is often a gap in tracking when your item leaves the US with no updates until the package is delivered and receives a delivery scan. International orders may take anywhere from a week to two months to arrive, depending on the country and time of year.
Can you mark my item as a “gift” on the customs form?
Unfortunately I am unable to mark your order as a “gift” on the customs form to help you avoid paying duties. A package is only a gift if no money has changed hands. Forging customs forms is a federal crime that can result in jail time for the forger. Thank you for understanding.
Do you offer returns or refunds?
I offer returns on items returned to me in their original condition. The refund will be issued for the cost of the item minus shipping as soon as I receive the item back in the condition it was sent in. Items that are damaged in the mail on their way back to me will not receive a refund.
I offer refunds on items damaged in the mail on the way to you. Please take photos of the damage and the box. I file a claim with the post office, and they may ask you to bring the damaged item and original packaging to the post office. Please retain these items until the claim has processed.
How are your shipping rates calculated?
My shipping rates are calculated automatically by Etsy using the size and weight of the package and the distance between our postal codes. I ship via USPS using the shipping speed you select at checkout.
For some large items I use UPS as their rates on large items can be lower. Any savings are returned to the customer via Etsy refund.
Can I have a discount / do you have a coupon code?
There is a 40-50% discount placed on items in my Sale section. I add new items to the Sale section every month. All other items are not eligible for a discount.
What happens if my item is shipped to the wrong address?
Buyers are responsible for providing a correct shipping address.
If you realize after purchasing the item that you entered the wrong address, please let the shop know as soon as possible. If the item has not shipped yet, we can ship to the new address.
If the item has already been shipped, Little Dog can contact the post office about rerouting the package, but the USPS is not always able to reroute. If the item is unable to be rerouted by USPS and is delivered to the wrong address, it is the buyer’s responsibility to coordinate retrieving the item from the incorrect address provided.
What kind of packaging materials do you use? Will my item be safe in transit?
We use recycled boxes, recycled packing materials, and lots of bubble wrap to ship orders. Nothing is worse than an item being damaged in the mail, so we take every precaution to package items as securely and safely as possible.
Fragile items are often double-boxed for extra safety. Orders with multiple items may ship separately in order to make sure all items arrive intact. I use my discretion when determining which items can be shipped together based on the safety of both items during shipping.
