This item is a beautiful handmade item. I gave it one less star because I wish it started at a lower height than 3 feet. I was not able to mark my sons height until 15 months. I have a growth chart for my daughter that starts at around 2 feet and ends at 5 feet. This one starts at 3 and ends around 6 feet. I doubt I will still be measuring my son if he evens ever gets that tall! Plus, this has to hang three feet off the ground which makes it go way up the wall. It just looks weird on the wall. Seems like it should hang lower. Just trying to be honest...
