How it all began...

Thank you for stopping by my shop!

When my son turned one and I was planning his birthday party, I was looking for a cute invitation that matched his party theme. I’ve been creating graphics for many years as part of my Event Management job and decided to design his invitation myself.

When all of our family members and friends told me how much they loved it, I decided to put it on etsy and see if anyone else would love it. I was blown away when I sold four of them in the first week and decided to create other invitations and party supplies, since I enjoyed designing my son’s so much!

My little shop has grown more than I could have imagined since then and I’m looking forward to expanding it as time allows.
I truly love what I do and hope that this little shop of mine will allow me to stay home part time with my son one day while working with all these wonderful moms who are planning their little one’s birthday parties and events!
I love when I hear back from my clients how much they loved their card and how many compliments they received and I’ve been so honored that they chose my invitations for their special event!

Thank you so much for your interest in my shop. You have many choices here on Etsy for beautiful custom cards, party supplies and children's apparel, and I appreciate your business very much. Please read this section thoroughly before placing your order.

I will communicate with you by email throughout the process of designing your file to eliminate to any errors or miscommunication. It is my goal to customize your file exactly as you envision it. However, occasionally some ideas you may have, may not always work in the printed format. If you are requesting something more than a simple color or text change, it is best to check with me prior to making your purchase. This may also result in a small additional fee.

My designs are meant to be printed from your home/office printer or by uploading to a local photo lab to be printed on photo paper or card stock.
Many professional printers that you may find, have very specific requirements for the file to be printed. My file may not meet all the requirements of some of these printers. If this is your preferred method of printing, please make sure you are aware of exactly what they need and provide me with this information at the time of purchase. If I cannot comply with their requirements, I will issue you a refund-assuming you have shared all this information with me prior to me creating your proof.

If you are purchasing a photo card, keep in mind that the quality of your final card will only be as good as the photo you submit. You will want to send me a high resolution jpeg photo for your card. If you send at a lower resolution, I will let you know and you can try resending. Should you choose to move forward with a photo that is not high resolution, I am not responsible for poor print quality. A dark, grainy, out of focus photo will print as such on the final product. Many samples in my store are done with professional photos, which enhance the quality of the card. Please understand this as you submit your own photos. *NO refunds are given after a first proof has been made for you.

If upon printing your card, you run into a problem, please contact me immediately so I can help fix the problem. I will send you a proof of your card. PLEASE review and proofread it carefully several times! I am not responsible for any spelling, grammar or text errors once you have given your approval. I will not issue a refund for errors of this kind if you have already approved it. I will, however, re-edit the card for you.

Once a first proof has been created for you, NO refunds will be issued.
I accept credit cards and PayPal.
When purchasing one of my custom cards, you are purchasing a digital file or printed product.
The digital file will be emailed to you as a high resolution jpeg file. The file can be saved to your computer and then you are able to print however you like.
Please make sure the email address in your Etsy profile is the correct email to send your file to and let me know if you have an alternate email that you would like me to use!
If you choose the printed option during checkout, we will email you a proof within 24 hours. You can request changes to be made or approve the file, once it is approved, the final product will be mailed to you within three business days.

When purchasing one of my children's apparel items, the item will be shipped to you within the timeframe stated in the listing. You can choose your shipping speed during the checkout process.
Additional policies and FAQs

In most cases you will hear from me within 24 hours of placing your order. If not, please convo me through Etsy to make sure I have received your order. You can expect a proof within 24 hours of making your purchase, unless otherwise noted in my shop announcement. If you request edits after viewing your proof, please allow up to 24 hours to complete edits. Please review your first proof carefully and ask for all edits at once. A reasonable amount of edits will be made for you at no additional charge. Should your edit requests exceed this, there many be an additional fee applied for additional edits. Should you need a rush order, please purchase the add on through my shop.

During the printing process, slight color variation and slight cropping from what you see on your computer screen is possible on your printed card. When printing yourself, I always recommend doing 1 test print to start. If you are not happy with something on your test print, I will certainly continue to work with you to get it just right.
If placing a custom print order, please be certain that you understand and are comfortable with this information before ordering.

In some cases I may choose to use your card design to display on my Etsy shop. I will change personal information before using it. If you would prefer not to have it displayed, please let me know.

And finally, show me some love:) Your positive feedback would be greatly appreciated as I grow my business. If you have a problem with your card, please contact me right away. I will work with you until we get it perfect!


Care Instructions:
• Machine wash cold, inside out, with mild detergent
• Tumble dry
• No bleach
• DO NOT iron over the HTV – it will melt

Processing times are always listed in every listing. This is the time it takes to make your order - from the day it is ordered to the day it ships.
Currently 3-5 business days (M-F). Holidays observed by USPS are not business days.

Shipping depends on the method you choose at checkout. First Class (typically 3 days) / Priority (guaranteed 2-3 days) / Priority Express (guaranteed 1-2 days)

Once your order is in the hands of USPS, Little German Boutique is no longer responsible for the item. Any damaged, lost, delayed, or stolen items are not refundable or exchangeable.

If you cannot locate your item, please call your local post office with your tracking number that was provided in your shipping notification email. I am unable to help locate your item.
