It is difficult to give an exact time as it will depend on the number of figures you wish me to paint. I always advise production will be a MINIMUM OF 3 WEEKS - PLUS THE DELIVERY TIME from the date that photos are supplied. However, if I am particularly busy then your order can take longer. IF YOU REQUIRE YOUR FIGURES SOONER please message me to discuss if I am able to meet your schedule. That is why I ask you to confirm when you are hoping to take delivery before you place the order. Each figure can take days to produce and I am just one person!

If, for whatever reason, you wish to cancel your order, you may do so within the first day after purchase. I will then offer you a full refund. After the first day your order will become final, but I may be able to offer you a partial or full refund depending on the work already completed.
However, in all instances, should you have any issues or problems then I am happy to discuss these with you and be as flexible as possible.

RETURNING AN ORDER: Unfortunately, your custom made orders cannot be returned for a refund. However, should you have any issues or problems then please get in touch and I will try to resolve the matter for you.

Yes - if you only want a peg portrait of your pet please get in touch to discuss size options and costs or choose 1 figure from the drop down menu.

My figures do not have detailed facial features - I normally include black dot eyes (with any glasses) eyebrows and facial hair such as beards/moustaches. A simple line mouth can also be painted. Female figures will have subtle rosy cheeks and can have subtle shading over the eye to suggest eye makeup. Your figure will be a stylized recreation of your family member - not a realistic portrait! (Should there be a specific facial feature that is important to include please let me know in advance).
HOW DO YOU SHOW DIFFERENT SKIN TONES?
I do not paint skin colours - all skin areas are left as natural wood which comes in a variety of shades. For darker skin tones I will use figures with a darker wood grain or stain the wood a darker shade.

I have a range of peg sizes available. Unless stated otherwise male figures are straight bodied and female figures conical bodied. I can take a photo of your family group in blank pegs to show you how it would look.

HEIGHTS:
ADULTS (young adults and older teens) 9cm
CHILDREN 4.3cm to 8cm
PETS 3.4cm to 6.5 cm
Each adult, child or pet counts as one figure.

BABY 3.3cm (oval bodied)
If you require a baby figure this will need to be added to your order from the 2nd drop down menu. Babies are NOT classed as ‘figures’ and therefore should not be taken into account in your choice from the first drop down menu. Tiny baby pegs are usually carried by a large adult peg figure, but can also be freestanding.

Most humans don't need any 3D parts. However, some hairstyles are difficult to recreate without 3D - for example top knots, buns etc. One 3D feature for a 'human' is included in the price. Further 3D parts will come with a small additional charge. Any 3D elements will be formed in air dry clay.

All pets will come with 3D ears formed in air dry clay (where applicable). This is included in the price. All other features are 2D painted.

Although my mini figures come in different sizes the amount of work involved and time taken to paint each one is very similar. I try to add the same amount of detail into the smaller figures and pets so this means prices are pretty much the same for all my figures (with the exception of the tiny ‘baby’ peg doll which costs less and needs to be added as a separate item from the 2nd drop down menu).

PHOTOS
Label each photo. It will be best to have well lit photos from different angles.

Hairstyles
From front, side and back - showing colour, hairlines etc.

Face shots
Although my figures have stylized faces it is still important for me to see what each person looks like.

Body/clothes
Most importantly, choose a typical outfit that makes the person instantly recognizable. The person does not need to be wearing the outfit. You can supply separate images of each item of clothing.

Specific features
Close up of tattoos etc

Accessories
Hat, jewellery, watch

Pets
Close up of face, body view from all sides, collar

DO I NEED TO SEND A GROUP PHOTO?
If you have a group photo it can really help me to see the relative heights and sizes of your family members. If you haven't got a group photo don't worry.

CAN I SEND SELFIES?
Selfies with filters are NOT IDEAL!!! You may send me selfies if these come along with other photos so that I am able to get the ‘full picture’!

During the process I may message you to confirm some details or ask you to supply more images if necessary.

HOW DO I SEND PHOTOS & INFO TO YOU?
You can email your photos and info directly to me lian@littlehdesign.co.uk or message me via Etsy. Once your order is complete I will delete all your photos and information from my files.

It is important to me that you are happy with your figures, so I can send a photo of your finished order for approval. If everything is ok I will then varnish them and send them to you (allow 3 to 4 days for varnish, drying and packing prior to shipping).
If there is something you feel you must change please let me know. I will not be able to make major changes such as completely changing a hairstyle or item of clothing - but minor changes are fine. Your first revisions are included in the cost, but if you decide to make further changes later on then I may have to charge extra. Please be aware that some changes may not be possible. For example I can paint over something, but cannot remove paint to leave an area of unpainted wood.
