I will activate a coupon for any of the Holidays, which will be of a limited time offer, so check back soon....

QUICK ship w tracking in the USA. International orders, no tracking number will be available - the only items I am shipping internationally are the sewing patterns, and small packages this time.

The fun is in the hunt for items of vintage & retro style, and well made products, that will take you back to the good old days - stuff was just made to last back then. My main haunts are thrift stores, church rummage sales, garage sales; and on the occasion when I pass by an estate sale.

The needlework or crochet projects are made by me when described as such, and I am always looking for vintage crochet and needlework items to add to my listings. I admire the time, love and effort needed to complete these projects.

I have recently begun to dive back into Ceramics, I am working on a number of projects that will be useful in the Kitchen, Garden, Jewelry storeage, and genereal use.

I will be offering a variety of components to use in your own projects ..........I am involved with a number of crafts; I thin out my stash periodically, and will offer you the spoils. I have many sewing patterns, sewing supplies, fabric material, buttons, laces, embellishments, craft patterns, needlework supplies and yarns, craft instruction books, painting books, and more......

In the future I plan on having more handcrafted items. I design my crafts from a variety of mediums. Here you will find a mix of recycled natural materials and cast offs. I look for a way to reuse or re-purpose items, that echos the original materials in an artistic or boho fashion. (I love the '60's and '70's styles - Groovy) My more frequenly used material is recycled Jeans, as I have a lot of it in my stash. Another fun thing is updating jewelry from thrift stores. Awaiting me are stashes of beach driftwood and rocks, shells, leather, corks, bottlecaps, cigar bands, wood pieces, jewelry findings, and supplies for resin casting; to be made into something. Talk about too much going on, what do I get to next?......phew!

Please visit often to see what's cookin' in my Shop.....

About

I offer a mix of Sewing and Craft supplies, Vintage Treasure finds, and my Handmade Crafts.

Hello - thanks for visiting!
My shop is run out of my home - small basement. I do it all. I opened my shop to offer sewing patterns and notions, craft books and supplies, vintage items, and some handmade items that I create. I like to incorporate recycled materials to make useful and trendy items.
I have made jewelry for myself, and I plan to offer some of my creations soon. I need to destash on a regular basis, due to the issue of having more supplies around than I have the time to complete the projects.
Before I began Etsy, I did crafts of all sorts for many years. In High School I got straight A grades in ceramics, drawing, watercolor and acrylic painting, textiles, block and screen printing, metal braising and jewelry making, collage, kiln glass enameling on copper, and I even arc welded a metal junk sculpture (I really enjoyed that). I taught the girls in Home EC class to sew, as I have been sewing since I was 12 years old.
Later, I accomplished a year long course in Photography at Ray Vogue collage of design, where I learned to develop B+W 35mm and 4x5 inch format film and produced custom prints. I learned professional Portraits and Commercial photography.
I like reusing and repurposing things, and I am big into recycling (I compost for my garden too!) I am crazy into collecting all the cool rocks I can find. Everyplace special I go, I need to collect a rock - even a small one. I have a rock from Monet's Garden, and from "the Rock" Alkatraz! The small Lake Michigan rounded stones will eventually find their way into some jewelry projects, mobile, or painted rocks (or who knows what).
Before I joined Etsy, I sold on eBay with over 3,000 sales - and have an excellent feedback record. I like to treat people how I like to be treated....with respect, honesty and prompt courteous service - can't go wrong with that :o)

PS: the icon pix for my shop is a photo I took from our cabin on the lake at sunset in midwest Wisconsin ....Like Heaven.
