Frequently asked questions

Can I wash my ceramic item with my dishwasher?

While I recommend that you gently wash your item by hand, my ceramics are generally dishwasher safe. I cannot guarantee that over time dishwashing will not dull or damage the glaze, but occasional dishwasher cleaning is okay.

Can I put my item in the microwave?

White and off-white clay is safe for microwaving, but black and grey clay contains iron and gets hot quickly, so please do not microwave.

Is my item foodsafe?

Unless otherwise noted in the item description, any bowls/cups/plates are food safe.
