The Little Print Den is where a love for scuba diving meets the art of printmaking, with each piece inspired by photographs captured by Natalie beneath the waves.
Desde que cursei Arte no Ensino Médio, nutro um profundo amor por gravuras e pela técnica de gravura, mas, à medida que construía uma carreira em marketing e criava uma família, tive dificuldades em encontrar tempo para explorar plenamente essa paixão, deixando de ser apenas um hobby.
Na casa dos vinte anos, também descobri o amor pelo mergulho. O mundo subaquático guarda maravilhas infinitas, e sempre gostei de capturá-las através da fotografia. Eventualmente, encontrei espaço na minha vida para combinar essas duas paixões criativas. Minhas fotos subaquáticas agora servem de inspiração para minhas impressões.
Adoro compartilhar a beleza da vida marinha, especialmente espécies que as pessoas talvez nunca tenham visto antes. Parte da minha alegria está em escolher a técnica de gravura certa para expressar a essência de cada imagem. Estou sempre experimentando e aprendendo novos métodos para dar vida a esses temas.
As técnicas que utilizo incluem gravura em metal, serigrafia, Mokuhanga, linogravura e cianotipia. Formei-me em gravura na Central Saint Martins, na Art Print Residence, no South Hill Park Arts Centre e no Reading College.

Since studying A-Level Art, I have had a deep love of prints and printmaking, but as I built a career in marketing and raised a family, I struggled to find the time to fully explore this passion beyond it just being a hobby.
In my twenties, I also discovered a love for scuba diving. The underwater world holds endless wonders, and I’ve always enjoyed capturing them through photography. Eventually, I made the space in my life to combine these two creative passions. My underwater photos now serve as the inspiration for my prints.
I love sharing the beauty of marine life, especially species that people may not have encountered before. Part of the joy for me is choosing the right printmaking technique to express the essence of each image. I am always experimenting and learning new methods to help bring these subjects to life.
Techniques I use include etching, screen printing, Mokuhanga, linocut and cyanotype. I have trained in printmaking at Central Saint Martins, The Art Print Residence, South Hill Park Arts Centre, and Reading College.
