I will only accept about 10 orders per week, and orders will be shipped on Saturdays. No custom orders are being taken at this time.

A new change to my ordering process: I will ONLY be accepting a set number of orders a week. Once that quota is met, then my Etsy shop will close until the next week. I'll likely open on Mondays and then close at the end of the week. Please feel free to message me during the closure, however please allow a few days for a response!

Please remember to leave the date needed in the Note to Seller at Checkout.

I try to answer email correspondence about once per day. Custom order requests can take a bit longer between messages.

About

The beginning...

In December of 2010, I was enjoying winter vacation from work and school by browsing craft blogs. I was so excited with what I saw, so I went out and bought myself a sewing machine. I loved making onesies with bow ties and others with ruffle bums, especially for gifts for friends and family. In about April 2011, I had a customer request a "1" to be put on the bow tie onesie, and that's when my business really took off! I love combining fabrics and colors with my own taste, but so many of the products available in my shop were created with the help of my customers! 2013 was my most successful year so far, where I completed over 1,300 orders (totaling over 3,000 items). I'm grateful for the support of my customers, because this business has helped me to support my family.

I accept all payments through Etsy Payments and an also accept PayPal.
Shipping
All orders will be shipped in a padded envelope or brown box via USPS First Class mail. Turnaround time may vary, please see my Shop Announcement for the current time.

I CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE USPS SHIPPING AND HANDLING TAKING LONGER THAN THEIR ESTIMATED SHIPPING TIME. I WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO SHIP IN A TIMELY FASHION, BUT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ORDER EARLY.

If a shipping address needs to be changed, it is the responsibility of the customer to make sure the address is correct when a notice is sent via PayPal that a shipping label was created. It is also asked that the customer contact the seller a few days before it is scheduled to ship out to make sure the address has been changed. I will not refund an order because it is shipped to a wrong address given by the customer.

Third party shipping is available for gifts. Please let me know the address to ship to, any note you would like on a gift card, and the address to which I should send the invoice.

The shipping charge includes both shipping and handling.

If you have a special shipping request, convo me prior to your purchase and we'll work out pricing, etc.

For international orders, please contact me for shipping rates. Those will vary from US shipping rates, but I am willing to ship to other countries. International customers are responsible for all fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping to their respective countries.

EXCEPTION: Custom Orders-Please allow up to 6 weeks for the creation/shipping of the item.

Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If it is not exactly what you imagined, I am happy to work with you to make it right! But please remember that although my hand-made items may not be perfect, I put my heart and soul into making them!

I will accept items for return, repair or exchange (if available) within 5 days of receipt. However, buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs. Please contact me first to discuss the details of the situation so I can be prepared and give you an appropriate timeframe on repairs. Again, shipping charges are not refundable.

Items must be returned in the exact condition received (unused, no stains, etc.). Please package the pieces carefully so no items are bent or smashed when I get them back (especially, take care with the hats, to stuff them back with tissue before shipping them back in the BOX, no other envelope or mailer). In some cases, a restocking fee (determined by seller) may be taken. If an exchange is being made, the new product will be shipped out once the returned item is delivered or a return tracking number is provided.

In cases that I have made an error on your order, I will typically offer (1) a 50% discount to keep the item, (2) return it and receive a corrected one in its place, or (3) to allow you to return it for a full refund.

Exception : Custom orders are NOT returnable or refundable.

Rush order fees are non-refundable under all circumstances. I make every effort to ship the order out in time. If it is not received in time, it is because of an issue with the USPS that is out of my control.
Additional policies and FAQs
Basic Care Instructions for bodysuits, tshirts, diaper covers, etc: Machine wash delicately (inside out) in cold water. Tumble dry low, or lay flat to dry. Press with warm iron to bring item back to life! DO NOT USE BLEACH! Spot treat stains with an OxyClean-like product. Please only spot clean hat.

It's also recommended that little one wears another (thinner) bodysuit underneath a Stitch to my Lu bodysuit because little diaper designs might peek through. ;)

Hats are approximately 6.5 inches tall with a 4 inch diameter.

NEW RUSH ORDER POLICY (effective 5/22/14): All rush orders will be charged a $10 fee. A rush order is necessary (though not always accepted) if an item is needed before my current turnaround/production time. Not all rush orders can or will be accepted. Please convo me PRIOR to purchasing a rush order.

Estimated shipping dates are honored for only 24 hours after they are given to the customer. After 24 hours, a new estimated ship date may be issued, which may likely be later than the first estimated ship date.

Effective March 4th, 2014: All custom orders will be subject to a $10 fee. What is a custom order? Orders are considered "custom" if an item needs to be created differently than presented in photos and/or that requires extensive correspondence to line up fabrics to match a theme/reference (more than 7-10 messages back and forth). This DOES NOT include items being embroidered with a name or "Birthday Boy/Girl". Embroidered shirts are not considered custom (because an embroidery fee is already being charged). An example of a custom order is: Someone requests an item with the colors: red, purple, and teal. After looking through my shop, there is nothing that perfectly matches that, so they request an item with those colors.

If you see a few items in my shop that you like different pieces of, then you can request to customize it with those different pieces. For example, you like the "1" fabric from a birthday shirt, the bow tie fabric from another, and different color suspenders than shown.

As the shop owner and creator of the items, I may have to make a special trip to the store to purchase fabrics to match a theme, and/or purchase fabric at a higher price than "normal." Also, emailing back and forth also takes more time for a custom order than just regularly placing an order from my shop. I hope this makes sense! Please convo me with questions!

Custom Order fees will be issued at the shop owner's discretion.

"Custom Listings" will be available for up to 24 hours after they are created for purchase, then they will be deactivated or deleted. If a customer does not purchase within the time frame, there will be a $5 re-listing fee and possible additional rush order fees applied to the order. Please purchase your listings early to ensure additional fees are not incurred. The shop owner cannot guarantee your order will ship out in a timely manner if a custom listing is left un-purchased for more than 24 hours.

A fully-purchased order holds a customer's spot in line.

Please note: All pieces are created by hand so no two items are identical. That's the beauty of the product! Please allow for slight variances from what is shown in the individual listing photos. Patterns and colors are subject to availability.
