Every piece here made me stop. That's the only criterion. An eye for the elusive.
Little Vitra Glass is a small, carefully curated shop dealing in rare, vintage, discontinued, and specialty sheet glass. Every piece here was hand-selected in person. Nothing is bought in bulk, sourced blindly, or listed out of convenience.
The glass comes from everywhere. Factory floors, private collections, barn rafters, estate sales, salvage, and the occasional chicken coop. Some of it is from makers that no longer exist. Some is from living makers who produced something once and won't again. Some is current production that earned its place anyway because of what it does with light. The common thread is not the maker, the code, or the category. It is the moment when the glass made me stop.
This shop does not stock by name. It stocks by eye.
What that means for you: the inventory is genuinely limited and changes with what I find. Pieces do not tend to repeat. If you see something that moves you, that instinct is usually correct.
What I carry serves lampmakers, mosaic artists, restoration professionals, stained glass artists, students, and collectors. If you are working on something and need a specific color, quality, or character of glass, reach out. I run a private sourcing service for clients who need something particular and are willing to wait for the right piece rather than settle for whatever is available.
Piece safety is the first priority on my end. Every order is packed accordingly.
If you have questions about a piece, a project, or a sourcing request, send a message. There is no request too small and no project too specific. The right glass exists. Finding it is what I do.
