I bought this card and this lovely painting by Eithne Roberts (girl with geese) for my sister’s Birthday I hope she will remember the flying geese in Cornwall. I love it and I hope she does too!

something new for 2022, New year new direction....

I have been very fortunate to be painting full time since 2009, working at my home studio on still life oil paintings and smaller encaustic works. At the end of 2021 I decided that it was time to start concentrating on my more abstract work. I had been listing mainly figurative work in my etsy shop under the shop name "little waxy art space" but now its time for a change..... I have felt that my abstract works are pieces that I want to explore more and maybe put my little figurative works on hold for the time being. New year, new direction..... My larger still life paintings are all exhibited with galleries in Ireland, the Doorway Gallery in Dublin city centre is the main gallery that I show with. Do take a look ...

Encaustic painting is a very old technique that involves color pigments melted into beeswax and resin. These "paints" are then applied in a molten state, and must be heated in order to stabilize them.
To care for your artwork, avoid placing it anywhere that is hotter than 165 degrees (pretty good advice for anything really) … buff with a soft cloth occasionally…. and enjoy.

Free postage on original artwork and prints. Minimum postage rate for greeting cards.
I use our Standard Irish Post - An Post for domestic orders within Ireland and have always found it very reliable. This service does not include tracking or insurance. Should you require your item registered an extra fee will apply and if you contact me I will get back to you with a quote as soon as possible.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

I use Standard Irish Post - An Post for international orders. This service does not include tracking or insurance. Should you require your item registered an extra fee will apply. If you wish to upgrade to Registered post which has a tracking number you can do so within the cart at checkout. Registered post can give peace of mind to both myself and the customer who can keep an eye on their parcels journey to them. Please be aware that Registered post will require a signature upon delivery.
