Love and Sleeplessness
Hi!
I'm Lauren. I'm married to a super supportive dude. We have one insanely active four year old little boy (seriously, he keeps me on my toes), and a new little rugrat born in November. I am a work at home mom. We live in sunny southern California. I have a bachelors degree in business. I've worked as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant (for pretty much all of my working life) helping other people keep their business on track.
A few years ago I started taking some classes in Photoshop and Illustrator just for fun. I soon began spending all of my free time at home playing around on these programs... to the point where my husband had to come in and ask me to come spend time with him because he missed me (oops). It was then that I decided, if I'm going to spend all my time creating things, I might as well share them with people. It took me a while to get over my fear of judgment from others and actually put my stuff out there though. It took even longer for me to actually tell people about it (fear can be such a paralyzing thing).
Little Wolfe Designs (previously Hennig Designs) is a dream, inspired by a hobby turned passion. It has been around since early 2013, right before I found out I was pregnant with my first. My mind is constantly going, I don't sleep much and I like to channel all that energy into something creative. I design these invitations and prints out of my house during naps and after bedtime, and I try to have as much fun with it as possible. Almost everything I make is inspired by my little guy, my niece and nephews, and all my friends' kids, and the baby showers and birthday parties we've had for them over the years.
This is pretty much me right now. I'm either chasing after a crazy toddler, feeding a new baby, watching movies with my husband, hanging out with my family, or working my booty off trying to turn something I love doing into something that can help support my little family.
