Welcome to Little e Pottery's store for second quality flawed and imperfect items. All items are offered at a discount of at least 25% off retail, but please READ each listing and look at all PHOTOS. Each listing will explain in a detailed manner what the defect is, and what, if any effect it will have on the use of the item. Without flaws all of my pieces are dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. All of my glazes are food safe. These qualities hold true for all of my seconds unless explicitly stated in an individual listing.
I am a full time professional potter. I make thousands of pots every year, so there are bound to be some with mistakes and imperfections. I think these items are still useful and beautiful so I offer them at a discount. I do remove or obscure my potter's mark on all seconds so I can maintain the rigorous standards that I want associated with my regular work, which can be found in my other Etsy store and my regular website.

5 out of 5 starsThis bowl is only 'flawed' in the sense that it deviates from her normal production pieces, as it is missing a design detail; the bowl is actually flawless. Plenty of care and attention were spent to ensure that the bowl arrived safely, which it did, rather quickly. Do not hesitate to purchase a 'second' piece from Little e, as any perceived issues are noted and photographed in detail. I am thrilled with this piece and I could not be happier to call it my own!

Shop policies
This is a great place to get beautiful handmade items at a lower price, but please be aware that all items come with a card that explains that they are second quality items. I take care with maintaining the reputation of the work in my "first quality" line of pottery. My signature is marked through or ground off of all items so that they can still be enjoyed, but cannot be mistaken for or "passed off as" my regular work.
