Additional policies and FAQs
How will my purchase be shipped?
I ship via USPS.

Do you offer tracking and/or shipping insurance?
I do, for an additional fee. Please let me know BEFORE you place your order so I can add the fee onto your listing. If you purchase your listing as is (no tracking or insurance), I am very sorry, but I cannot be responsible for the item once it leaves my hands.
Finished cross stitch pieces shipped within the US are usually shipped by Priority Mail, so they will include tracking and insurance.

Do you offer expedited shipping?
I do offer upgraded shipping, for an additional cost. If this is required, please contact me immediately BEFORE placing your order so I can provide you with a price.

Do you combine shipping?
My shipping fee is always listed clearly for you. If you order more than one item, the price will automatically be discounted for the second item.

Do you ship internationally?
I ship worldwide, and the shipping charge is atomically calculated for you. Because I cannot track international orders, I am very sorry, but I cannot be responsible for the item once it leaves my hands. Please bear this in mind when placing your order. Also remember that I have no way of knowing how long it will take for the item to reach you. I once had an order take a month to reach someone, although I have no idea why!

How long will it take to receive my order?
I will ship your order out as soon as possible, often between 1-3 business days. All orders with expedited shipping added will ship out immediately.

How do I pay with a money order?
Please let me know if you intend to send a money order. Please send your payment within three days of your purchase. Because I must receive you payment first, your order will go out as usual once I receive payment.

How many of one item are available?
Using the drop down menu under "quantity" (where you add the item to your cart) you will be able to determine how many I have. For example, if I only have 1, you will only be able to choose 1. If I have 23, the drop down menu will go all the way down to 23 and stop there.

Can you make more?
Usually yes, contact me and I will be glad to let you know.

What about stickers?
Rare stickers are often out of my own collection, but if you contact me, I may have more that I'm willing to part with. ☺

Do you accept returns?
I do not accept returns, however I do want you to be happy with your purchase. Everything I create is made and shipped with extra care to avoid any damages. I will always work with you if you feel there is a problem with your order to make sure you enjoy my crafts as much as I enjoy creating them for you. ☺

Can I have an item gift wrapped and sent directly to the gift recipient?
Absolutely! I will be happy to provide a note with any message you wish to write. When placing your order, under “Notes to Seller,” please tell me what you’d like and put the message fully enclosed in quotes. This way I can have it exactly as you’d like it. ☺

Are your items perfect?
Machines make perfection, humans make love. ☺ I make everything with love, and I always aim for flawless, but check my photos carefully, and expect some imperfections.

What happened to your cross stitch patterns and kits?
They are now in a separate Etsy shop (LC Stitchery), and you can be redirected to it through this address: Instant downloads are still available there.

Can I request custom colors of die cuts?
Absolutely! Contact me and we can discuss it. However, please understand that I cannot change everything, and occasionally changing the color of one thing will change the color of something else (for example, changing a person's hair to black may also change their belt to black), and I cannot control this.

Is there an additional fee for custom work?
Yes, but it is minimal.

How long do custom orders take?
I always begin orders upon payment. Depending on what you order, completion times can vary greatly. I will always be up front with you about my schedule and give you as accurate a completion time as I possibly can.

Do you offer a bulk discount?
I do discount based on how many of an item you are requesting and my price quote will reflect this.

Can jewelry metals be changed?
Yes, there are a lot of options available. Please let me know what you would like to change and I will give you a price.

Can you remake an item that has been sold?
Usually with no problem at all. Just let me know what you’re looking for and I can give you a price and time frame.

How do I care for my hoop framed cross stitch piece?
Clean only when absolutely necessary by LIGHTLY using a lint brush is to remove dust, being extra careful to avoid damaging the piece.

How do I store my hoop framed cross stitch piece?
Store completed cross stitch carefully, as any pressure on the front or back of the fabric may perm inanely distort the fabric or remove it from the hoop. Store the piece flat to avoid warping the hoop. Place a piece of brand new quality white tissue paper flat down inside the container you plan to store your piece in. Place the piece stitched side down so it is flat against the tissue paper. Lightly ball up some more of the same tissue paper and place it on top of the back of the stitching that is showing. This will keep an even amount of pressure on both sides of the piece.

Can I give my child a needle felted item?
Needle felted items should be treated gently, and are not intended for children. They could choke, the could ruin it, but in general - it's up to you! My daughter has never ruined anything I've needle felted for her, but again, it’s your call! ☺ Just don’t let them put any part of it in their mouths!

How do I clean a needle felted item?
Clean needle felting by LIGHTLY tapping price with Scotch tape that has been "dulled" a little by pressing it against your hand first. Using tape that is too sticky will pull the wool fibers off the piece.

What if I pull some of the fibers up from the needle felting and make it a little "fluffy?"
You can either just leave it that way if it isn't too noticeable, or you can very carefully trim the dislodged fibers off with small, sharp scissors. (A sweater shaver works too!)

How do I care for sealed paper jewelry?
Sealed paper jewelry can be wiped clean the same way your sunglasses are.
