Fulfilling my creative side

My name is Jen. I am a mom of three redheads, the wife of a volunteer firefighter, and the owner of Livia Lynn Designs. I started this business because I love creating meaningful jewelry (that looks good at the same time!). Growing up, I always loved my grandma’s mother’s ring. I would frequently ask her who the different birthstones represented. Now she’s gone, but I have that ring that holds so many memories for me. I want that for my customers…I want them to have a piece of jewelry that they love, that has meaning to them and reflects their life, love and experiences.

Browse through my listings and see if anything catches your eye. Everything I make can be personalized and I love working with customers to create custom designs as well.

Most of my work is stamped metal jewelry (primarily copper, sterling silver and aluminum), but I also offer stamped leather bracelets, glass tile Christmas ornaments and occasionally a few other goodies. The glass tile pieces can be personalized with your own photos and are a really cool gift.

Shop policies

Thank you for visiting Livia Lynn Designs! I appreciate your business and look forward to working with you to create a one-of-a-kind item. I make everything by hand in my smoke-free home. On stamped pieces, each letter is stamped one by one allowing me to personalize your item however you want.

Thank you for taking the time to thoroughly read through my shop policies. This information should answer most questions you have, but feel free to convo me if you have a question.

If we’ve discussed details of your item in Etsy convos, please reiterate these in the Notes to Seller section at checkout. This saves me time, as I use the notes when I create your item. Your cooperation is very much appreciated!

Returns and exchanges
I do not accept returns on personalized items. If you have a question on an item, please contact me prior to ordering to make sure it is what you want. Please make sure that when ordering, you provide me with the correct information. If an item is stamped with incorrect information based on what was provided to me, I will try to work with you to try to rectify the situation but additional charges may apply.

I am human and mistakes can happen, so if I make a mistake on your item, I will gladly fix or replace your item.

Most of my items are all hand made after you place your order. No two pieces will be exactly alike, nor will they exactly match the photos in this brochure. Text and designs may not be perfectly straight and even; this gives you a unique, one-of-a-kind product and should not be considered a design flaw.
Payment is accepted through PayPal or Etsy direct checkout.

Ohio residents will be charged 7.25% sales tax.

Please note that I will not begin creating your item until payment has cleared. Certain payment methods, such as E-checks through PayPal, may have a waiting period involved and this will delay the time it will take for you to receive your item.

Due to the nature of my items, cancellation fees may apply if I have already started creating your item.
My current turnaround time is 7 to 14 days after receipt of cleared payment as most of my items are created personally for you after you place your order.

I ship via USPS first class mail with delivery confirmation. Estimated delivery time is 3 to 5 business days.

Upgraded priority mail shipping (2 to 3 business days) is available for an additional $3 charge. See my listing for in my shop’s Upgrades and Extras section. If you would like to request Express (overnight) shipping, please send me a convo and we can discuss details.

Insurance is not included. If you would like to purchase insurance, please send me a convo and I will set up a private listing with insurance coverage added.

International shipping –

I ship USPS first class international shipping. Shipping may take up to 3 to 4 weeks for delivery (this does not include production time). The customer is responsible for payment of all customs fees, etc. I have no way of knowing when or where these may occur or their amount. Insurance and tracking are not available for international shipments. I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

I will ship to the address provided to Etsy. Please make sure this is correct!

My items are attractively packaged and mailed in a bubble mailer. Most of my items are packaged in a kraft jewelry box and are ready for wearing or gift giving.

If this is a gift for someone and being shipped directly to them, a note card with a message from you can be included at no additional cost. Gift wrap is also available for a $3 charge. See my listing in the Upgrades and Extras section of my shop.
Additional policies and FAQs
See something you like but it’s not exactly what you want? I love custom orders! Please contact me and we’ll come up with something unique and just for you.

Coupon codes apply to regular priced items only.

I use a variety of metal discs in my pieces, including sterling silver, copper, nickel silver and aluminum. Most aluminum discs are 18 gauge or heavier in thickness. Sterling silver and copper are usually 22 gauge or heavier, but never thinner than 24 gauge.

I cannot stamp the back side of the piece in most cases as the stamping process leaves a slight impression on the front. If there is a piece that can be stamped on both sides, it will be noted in the description.

Please note that because these discs are metal, scratching may be present or occur with use and this is more noticeable on the smooth, shiny discs as opposed to the textured discs. This is normal. Sometimes a fingernail buffer can help.

Please note that the coloring on your letters may fade over time, especially if worn more while sweating or in water. The letters are all colored by permanent Sharpie marker. You can refresh them by coloring over the letters with a Sharpie and wiping the excess with a polish pad (included with your order and also available through my shop). You might have to put a little effort into getting all the marker off the metal, but it will come off and look like new!

Quantity discounts may be offered if you are purchasing more than seven items at one time. Please convo me for information.

Please note that I reserve the right to use a photo of your item in my shop and/or on my business Facebook page. Please rest assured that even though your names, dates, etc. might be displayed, I will NOT under any circumstances reveal personal information about you pertaining to the design or phrase stamped on the piece. I will never sell or distribute your personal information to any third party.

Some jewelry metals, including sterling silver and copper, will tarnish over time if not properly cared for. In order to preserve the finish, avoid direct contact with lotion, oil and perfume. Moisture and humidity will affect the finish as well. For best results, keep it in a small zip top bag when the jewelry is not worn to avoid oxidation. I do include a small polishing pad with each metal order. Before using the pad, you can wash the piece in soapy water. After it’s dried, use the polish pad to bring the shine back to life. Additional pads are available for purchase in my Upgrades and Extras section.

Aluminum is a soft metal, so be extra gentle. It does not tarnish, but it will pick up oils and dirt, causing it to become dull. Gentle washing with hand soap and water and drying with a hair dryer is recommended.

Please note that copper may cause skin to turn green on some people. It does wash off, no worries!

If you are allergic to any metals, please use caution. While the pendant metal is clearly listed in the listing, some components used to assemble the necklace may or may not contain nickel.

Please note that many of my items consist of small pieces that can create choking hazards for children. Children must be supervised at all times when wearing or handling items created by Livia Lynn Designs. You assume FULL responsibility of the child’s wear and use of any items.

I want you to be totally happy with your purchase and would love positive feedback. Leaving neutral or negative feedback without contacting me first does not help me address any concerns you have so please contact me first if you have any concerns.
