Women's Sizing
All American Apparel Women’s Shirts are sized SMALL! I recommend a size up from your normal sizing for a tight fit and two for a relaxed fit. All of the women’s styles vary greatly and there are a few places you can check to make sure you get the perfect fit:
-arT-shirt listings are the size shown and all sizing info is in item details.
-All other clothing listings include a chart in the third photo so you can measure yourself and compare. Just measure the chest and waist of your favorite shirt and compare to the size chart.
-The “SIZE & FIT” section for ALL garments has information about each particular style as well.
I am also here to assist in case you have any questions. Contact me and I will get in touch ASAP

What is an arT-shirt?
Most of the clothing I have listed you can choose a size you would like and sometimes there are multiple styles. The arT-shirts are one of a kind items in which I will stamp, paint, and/or write on them. While the nature of hand stamped clothing is that there are variances between every shirt, in the arT-shirt line, each item is unique, one size only, one style only, often painterly, and falls somewhere between art and shirt…
Thus the arT-shirt!!!

Silkscreened vs. Stamped?
In silk-screening, a design is transferred with a medium that creates a stencil of the design on a cloth that is stretched on a frame. The frame is placed on the garment, ink is pressed through the screen/stencil, and the original design is on the item. Each print is basically identical. This process is more conducive to mass production.
With stamping, the design is made, transferred to stamp material, and then carved. During each step, you get a bit more texture from the artist’s hands in process. In the application of the stamp the inks tend to have subtle variance across the image, which adds more texture to the design. As well, if stamps get layered, alignment changes slightly, and there is subtle variance from print to print.
Care instructions
My items are hand stamped and the image is heat set. It is recommended to cold-water wash and air dry. This will keep the clothing as well as the print lasting as long as possible.
I cold water wash and line dry most of my items.
If you like to use the machine for all your laundry needs then tumble dry on a low heat setting.
Gift wrapping and packaging
I use 100% recycled and reused gift-wrapping. All items come in a plastic bag that zip locks shut. If you would like me to gift-wrap it I add a layer of newspaper or past figure drawing sketches around this and a note. Put in the comments section of your order what you would like me write and I will include. This may not sound super exciting but it is lovely green gift-wrapping all would enjoy!
