About

Crafted with Care For Your Everyday Life

Each day someone new is falling in love with handmade. The desire to make, and the desire to own, handmade goods is growing in America. We are learning together how special it is to have something that has been crafted by hand from start to finish by someone who cares.

For me the idea of handmade first hit home when I was in college, studying abroad in Florence. Walking through those old cobbled streets, I would find shop after shop selling beautiful clothes. One day I found a rack with a sign on it: each item is made by hand in limited amounts so we may no longer have your size available. It dawned on me. There was a person on the other side of that piece of clothing. A person who designed it, carefully cut then sewed it, and who placed it on that rack, along with a piece of their creativity and hard work. As a maker, that connection you build with your customer, that connection made through dedication and imagination, is incredibly valuable.

My business has grown in and around Cleveland. Here I find myself surround by a community who is thrilled when small batch makers take off, who love when creative people explore new endeavors, and most of all, who support local businesses with more than just words. Much of Cleveland’s recent growth is bolstered by both groups: creative small businesses and the community they engage with. Like many other mid-size cities with manufacturing roots, Cleveland values innovation, creativity, and of course, things made with our own hands.

Shop policies

Last updated on September 4, 2015
My name is Liz Sabo and this is my Etsy store. Welcome!

When you are ordering something online, I know it's important to have plenty of information about the item and seller. No one wants to feel uncertain about the quality of either.

In all of my item listings, I try to be as clear as possible about the details of the item, describing fabrics used, colors, and inner structure. My listings include photographs that are well lit, with a bright white background, and are taken from a variety of angles to give you the impression of holding the item in your hand.

In my policies below, I hope to give you as much information about how I run my business. I have provided information about shipping, payment, and refunds. So read them through, and, please, feel free to contact me, through Etsy messages or email liz [!at] lizsabo.com, if you have any questions at all.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept PayPal, Credit Cards and Etsy Gift Cards.
Shipping
DOMESTIC SHIPPING: For most shipments, I use United States Postal Service priority mail, which includes a tracking number.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: International shipping costs are estimates. I will check multiple shipment options to see which are best for your particular location. If costs to your address is lower than listed, I will issue a partial refund for the difference.

All orders are shipped as soon as possible, usually within 1-3 days of receipt of payment. After I have shipped your purchase, I will send a message with expected delivery date.

Large, full-sized bags, are stuffed with newsprint to keep their shape, and wrapped with cellophane to protect from possible leaks in the box during shipment. Wallets and totes are shipped in bubble wrap envelopes.

If you are purchasing an item as a gift and would like it gift wrapped, just let me know.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact me and we will find a solution.

If items are to be returned or exchanged, shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am a one woman operation. I design, cut, iron, and sew all of my bags myself. I am also the only person doing the photography, graphic and web design, and packaging and shipping. Items posted in my Etsy shop are ready-made and are almost always ready to ship in 1-3 days of payment. If I am unable to ship in this time frame, (such as I am out of town for a couple days), I will let you know as soon as I receive the order. Thanks for your understanding!

I am not currently accepting any more consignment arrangement, but I do sell wholesale. If you are interested in placing a wholesale order, please contact me at orders [!at] lizsabo.com for a catalog.
