Beautiful pulls that match a teal and orange spare bedroom. The pulls are a lot more substantial than I expected; the metal around the glass is heavy. I don't worry about them breaking or wearing out.

A Designer with a Passion for GLASS

Tess Dirienzo – G L A S S A R T I S T

After earning a degree in Commercial Art in my home state of Utah, I packed up my shorts and flip flops and headed for Florida, where I planted my feet in the sand. I would spend the next 30 years established my career as a graphic designer and illustrator. During my tenure as Art Director, I wanted to try a creative outlet without the constraints of the office. I took a class at a local stained glass studio and found my calling. While I continued to work as an independent artist, I gradually shifted my focus toward the glass. Fast forward to the present, this pairing of creative and technical skills has formed the foundation for my work today.
My current portfolio hosts a mix of traditional stained glass and modern mosaics, influenced by my natural surroundings in south Florida. More recently, I have added a more tribal theme in recognition of my Native American heritage, integrating the glass with a mix of other natural materials. Having come full circle, it’s these added elements that give my work a personal touch... my signature of choice.
