Beading Divas To The Rescue ~ Saving Animals One Bracelet At A Time.....

When Lizzie Mead’s two greyhounds were in a hit-and-run accident on October 20, 2008, six of her gal pals came forward to help raise funds to pay costly $14,300 veterinarian bills for Opal and Rider.

We still had plenty of beads remaining and Lizzie said, “Let’s keep going; I want to give back.”

In April 2009, Beading Divas to the Rescue started to fundraise for animal charities and we have never looked back. Though Angy and Glenda have moved on, the remaining five manage all the functions. Additionally, more than 30 volunteers have offered their time to make bracelets.

One of a kind bracelets are made with donated beads, memory wire and come with a paw charm to commemorate our mission.

Every month we choose a 501c3 non-profit animal charity.

~ Learn more about the story and our process on our blog.

A receipt is provided for each donation (accepted year round).

The seven original Beading Divas are Lizzie, Karyn, Michelle, Cynthia, Angy, Loren and Glenda.
