5 out of 5 starsA few months back I bought one of the beautiful collars at a convention but it was tragically left behind at an event I attended 🥲 I’m so happy I found it on Etsy - with free shipping at that! Literally just as wonderfully crafted as the first one I got. Not to mention it delivered in 4 days! Thank u so much<333

Frequently asked questions
How are the edges done on the collars cuffs and leashes?
The edges are perfectly rounded and edge painted with the finest edge paints Italy has to offer - You won’t feel any edges digging or chaffing your skin allowing for an extended use
Each edge has multiple layers of edge paint – First, the edge paint is applied and then heated and melted into the leather fibres using a heating tool called a fileteuse to ensure a strong bond. After being set aside to dry, it is then sanded, and a new layer of edge paint is applied. This process is repeated multiple times. In each step the sandpaper grit becomes finer and finer until a perfectly smooth edge is achieved – maximum comfort for you or your sub
What is edge paint? Is it just normal paint?
Definitely not normal. Edge paints are closely guarded proprietary mixtures of pigments, waxes and acrylics specifically designed and manufactured for leather applications. It is used extensively on higher end purses bags etc. All my edge paints are manufactured in Italy.
Do you mix your own colours of Edge Paint?
Rarely, if ever. It is extremely difficult to get an exact match between batches when mixing by hand. By having manufactured provided colours, I can guarantee that if someone has a collar, in a year’s time, if they decide to get matching cuffs, the colour will be 100% identical providing the manufacturer doesn’t retire the line. I typically keep at least a year’s supply on hand at all times and replace the stock I consume regularly.
What kind of hardware do you use?
All the hardware I use is sourced from tack and harness hardware suppliers – strong enough for a horse.
Where do you get your leather?
I source my leather from Canadian and U.S. suppliers where available. If not, I go directly to the tannery or their official suppliers.
What kind of leather do you use?
Heavy play requires heavy-duty leather, so whether you are on the hard core end, moderate or more into lighter play, it will last. I use a minimum of 7/8 oz cowhide leather in all collars, cuffs leashes and paddles. The bridle leather items are made with a minimum of 8/10 oz
Are your leathers ethically sourced?
All leather I use comes from the existing food chain so nothing goes to waste according to the tanneries I use.
