Todo este viaje para mí comenzó con el aprendizaje de la importancia de cuidarme. Trabajo en una casa de seguridad confidencial para mujeres y niños que huyen de la violencia doméstica. Me encanta lo que hago más que nada, pero escuchar las historias de todos y trabajar con ellos sin parar durante 6 meses para asegurarme de que puedan ser independientes y felices comienza a pasar factura.

Mi prometido comenzó a preocuparse por mí porque no me estaba tomando el tiempo para cuidarme de la manera que debería, lo que también significaba que no estaba cuidando a mis clientes de la manera que quería, decepcionándome aún más. Me dijo que escribiera 20 cosas que tal vez quisiera hacer como pasatiempo para asegurarme de que me estaba cuidando para poder dar a mis clientes todo lo que pudiera.

En algún momento de ese proceso, comencé a profundizar en un amor de toda la vida por las rocas y realmente ponerme en contacto con las cosas increíbles que pueden hacer.

Y aquí estamos ahora. ¡La fabricación de joyas estaba en mi lista como algo que podría querer hacer y se atascó! ¡Cuanto más me adentraba en la creación y el enfoque en el poder de los cristales, mejor me sentía y más sentía que estaba presente para mis clientes! Quiero poder dar esos sentimientos y poder a los demás compartiendo mis creaciones que están llenas de amor, cuidado, compasión y energía que salva vidas para mí con personas que también pueden necesitar ese poder.

This whole journey for me started with learning the importance of taking care of myself. I work in a confidential safe house for women and children fleeing from domestic violence. I love what I do more than anything but hearing everyone's stories and working with them nonstop for 6 months to make sure they can be independent and happy begins to take it's toll.

My fiance began getting worried about me because I wasn't taking the time to take care of myself the way I should, which also meant I wasn't taking care of my clients the way that I wanted to- disappointing myself even more. He told me to write down 20 things that I might want to do as a hobby to make sure I was taking care of myself so I could give my clients as much as I could.

Somewhere in that process I began digging deeper into a life-long love of rocks and really getting in touch with the amazing things they can do.

And here we are now. Jewelry making was on my list as something I might want to do and it stuck! The deeper I got into creating and focusing on the power of crystals, the better I felt, and the more I felt I was present for my clients! I want to be able to give those feelings and power to others by sharing my creations that are full of love, care, compassion, and life-saving energy for me to people who may need that power too.
