Love metals...so do we!

Hello I am Esme, my journey started back in 2005 creating kitsch handmade jewelry, I then progressed to making silver jewelry. I suffer from panic attacks and anixety and the process of creating has enabled me to lead a relatively easier life. I began selling antiques and vintage back in 2012, I have always had a passion for the sparkly things, and this is how Lody Loves was born. It has grown very fast and now my husband helps me, which is fantastic as he finds it easier to nip to the post office than I do, so it is thanks to him all your orders get to you on time. I have also handed over the customer service reigns to him, if you need anything I am sure he will try his best to help. Oh and visit his shop Symetricolour here on etsy, he makes musical instruments in his spare time.

How does your shipping work?

All parcels are posted with tracking.

Estimated shipping times, these are working days, so do not include weekends.
United Kingdom: 3-5 business days

Does my item have a tracking number?

All parcels posted have a tracking number, this will be added to the site once the item has been posted, if you would like to have the tracking number, please contact us and we will supply you with the tracking information.

How do I track a parcel that I have a tracking number for?

Tracking can be done through Etsy or Royal Mails website.

Click on the 'You' icon then 'Purchases and reviews'. Next to the order in question there will be a button marked 'Track Package'. This will give you basic tracking information. You can the click 'View complete tracking history' and then the long tracking number on the next page to view tracking via the Royal Mail website.

Where is my item?

If your item has been marked as dispatched postage times are estimated as follow:

1st class domestic postage within the United Kingdom: 2-3 working days.
2nd class domestic postage within the United Kingdom: 1-2 working days.
Items posted to European countries: 7-15 working days.
Items posted to the rest of the world including the USA: 10-21 days.

You may also be able to track the item if tracking was included or bought separately. Please see the tracking FAQ section for more information.

What information has been written on my parcel?

The parcel will include your name and address, our return address and if required a customs label to inform customs services the contents of the parcel and it's value.

The contents and value will be accurately detailed by us as any attempt to bend the truth can result in us being prosecuted within the United Kingdom.

If the value of the item goes over the import threshold for your country there may be an import fee for you to pay. This will depend on the country the parcel is being sent to and it's policies on import pricing which it is the customers responsibility to investigate. We will not be held responsible for any import charges that need to be paid.

I am buying for a country outside of the UK. Will there be a import charge in my country?

How will my parcel be wrapped?

Your parcel will be well wrapped, usually using a cardboard box, packaging chips and bubble wrap.

With the environment in mind, the box may be recycled and the packaging nuts we use are biodegradable where possible. The bubble may be recyclable depending on your local recycling facilities. Alternatively, it is fun to pop!

I would like to return my item?

Here at Lody Loves we strive to provide great products and good customer service if however you are not happy with your purchase then you may advise us of your wish to cancel within 14 working days following the day of delivery. Following such cancellation we will refund in full your payment as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days from the date of your cancellation.

If you do decide to cancel a purchase then the goods must be returned to us at your cost within 21 days of the delivery date. We would recommend that you use a postal method that will provide the appropriate level of cover in case the goods are damaged or lost in transit.

I have a problem with my item. What do I do?

If the goods you receive are not as we described them or are damaged then please advise us immediately via email, and we will refund in full and either arrange collection of the goods, provide funds for their return or ask you to dispose of them.

Do you customise or reserve items?

We are unable to offer customise items due to them being vintage and not manufactured by us. In the case of rings we are unable to recommend resizing them due to their age. If you wish to get a third party to do this after purchase we will not take responsibility for any damage caused to the item.

We will reserve an item for customers for up to 14 days by altering the title of the items with the users Username. Please contact us if you would wish to do this.
