Announcement   Hand knitted hot water bottle covers made in Somerset UK.
Each hot water bottle cover is hand knitted by me, in yarn ranging from soft easy-care mixed fibres to luxurious pure merino wool.
Each cover involves working over 8000 stitches-worked in stripes, fairisle patterns or textured twists and cable patterns.
My listed designs are all complete and ready to go, with the exception of the covers with initials which are made order. I like experimenting with colour, pattern and texture, so many of my covers will be one of a kind.
Thanks for calling in-do get in touch if you have any questions or special requests.

About

Knitting

I was taught to knit at the age of five by one of my Mum's friends and I haven't stopped since. I love the simplicity of the materials and tools and the potential to create something intricately patterned or textured from a line of fibre. Knitting hot water bottle covers gives me lots of scope for maintaining traditional stitch patterns whilst creating new designs, and using vintage stitch patterns in contemporary colours. Each hot water bottle cover is hand knitted by myself with great attention to detail, and neat finishing on the inside.
